  2. Hi Mik, At a place of work you can store any amount of flammable liquid but not in your workshop then you can only have 50 litres. So an other room, building or outside there is no limit. No Licence needed. Please see HSE website for full details. ( Just google how much fuel can I store at work) We offer a fuel storage trunk for added peace of mind or so you are in control of the fuel. Hope this helps. Contact me direct for more info 07568108953 [email protected]
  3. Hi, would have to see and hear it to workout what was up with it. But if the carb is too lean then running Aspen can cause poor running. Full carb clean in ultrasonic tank and turn the carb (not just pop it in for 10 min) Please if you have any kit that won't run on Aspen I want to know. All the best. Eddie
  4. Hi Rover, I am sorry to hear the MS210 had problems. The dealer should have let me know and I would have got it sorted. If anyone else has problems with kit running on Aspen please let me know. 07568108953 or email [email protected]
  5. Hi, HP Ultra (Green oil) is as Josh says cleaner burning and gives better lube than the Red Stihl oil. Aspen2 used to have the same spec of oil as HP Ultra and Husqvarna XP. The NEW Aspen2 FRT has even lower soot and better lube than all of the above. Plus better acceleration and cleaner exhaust. Please remember the main part of Aspen is the cleaner fuel. The use of different oils in pump fuel will offer you engine better protection but what about your health? Sign up to get the 58p per litre road fuel tax take off Aspen making it more affordable for all to use. Please contact me if you have any questions. 07568108593 [email protected] All the best Eddie
  6. Hi Jon, What tests would you like to do? I can send you data and put you in contact with users for their thoughts on aspen. Aspen is used by Husqvarna to run all 2-strokes in their factory and approved by Stihl. It will not damage your kit. Please contact me on [email protected] or 07568 108953 I am always here to help. Kind regards Eddie
  7. Hi Stubby, Pump petrol damages rubber and plastic parts. That's why you have to change fuel lines and diaphragms. Aspen will not damage them. The use of Aspen in a fuel system that has run a lot of pump fuel (old or pro use) can in few cases cause the rubber parts to fail sooner than they would normally. This is because the ethanol and solvents soak into the rubber parts and then the Aspen washes them out causing them to shrink or harden in a small number of cases. No need to change the fuel filter. We would advise you change the carburettor diaphragm to be on the safe side. You may need to adjust the idle speed and low speed mixture when using Aspen. Please call me on 07568 108953 for help or advise. Kind regards Eddie
  8. Well done!! Just shows the sales other dealers are missing out on! Thank you for your hard work explaining Aspen and now it's paying off!! All the best Eddie
  9. Hi all, New dealer Stephen Barker Garden Machinery Ashtree Barn Chapel Road Old Newton Stowmarket Suffolk IP14 4PP 01449 674254 Help me fill in the gaps in our dealer coverage. Ask your local dealer for Aspen! Please sign the form to get the road fuel tax taken off Aspen fuels. All the best Eddie
  10. We have Husqvarna and KTM's running on Aspen2 but if it's highly tuned or race spec then a race oil and Asepn4 would be best.
  11. Hi Albert, Make sure every thing is in the correct position and the seat switch is overridden or you have a helper. You need to test if you have live to the trigger on the solenoid (the small wire) This becomes live when you turn the key if all is well. Test with a multi meter or test light. If this becomes live but no engine crank it will be the solenoid. If this small wire is not live when the key is turned then it's a safety switch or ignition switch etc... A none gen belt will cause the problem of the deck running in the top position.
  12. Hi, Yes we do want dealers in and around Edinburgh. The dealers I called in on did not think people would buy Aspen so please ask your local dealers and give me their contact details and I will follow it up. Email [email protected] Kind regards Eddie
  13. New Dealer. Acle Garden Machinery Norwich Road Norwich, Norfolk NR13 3BY Phone:01493 751659

  15. Hi all, Just found out these guys have a small stock of Aspen. Please phone first to check stock. Bridgwater Mowers Main Road Cannington Bridgwater TA5 2LF Tel: 01278 651300 Email: [email protected]
  16. Hi Brushcutter, The nearest store is Ernest Doe. I have emailed Olivers LandPower and I will follow up next week. Bradstock PowerTools are shut today so I will phone them tomorrow for a chat about stocking Aspen. Please go in and ask about Aspen so they know there is a demand for it. Thanks for suggesting these dealers. Kind regards Eddie
  17. Hi Ghilley, I have been in contact with the guys who make the oil for Aspen and they have loads of Classic or "old timer" saws running on Aspen in Europe. As Morten rightly says it's the advances and quality of the oil that has improved since these engines were built. If an engine says it requires more oil than 50:1 it is ether an older machine or a low price new machine. (They think the customer who bought a cheap machine will buy cheap 2-stroke oil) Thank you for the question, it's always good to get the facts. All the best Eddie
  18. Hi, Some 2-strokes need the idle speed adjusting and the low speed jet unscrewing 1/8 of a turn when running Aspen. Make sure you retune when switching fuels to get the best from your kit. Please contact me if you have any questions. All the best Eddie
  19. Hi Hodge, We are trying to keep the price the same as before but please all remember the last increase in price was April last year. Thanks for all the positive comments. As always please contact me if you have any questions. 07568108953 Eddie
  20. Hi all, Please tell your local dealers that you would like to buy Aspen from them and then give me their contact details. Always get told that no one asked for Aspen so they don't see the point in stocking it!!! Every new dealer has be very surprised by the ease and volumes they sell. Please contact me if you have any questions as I am here to help. All the best Eddie
  21. They are the same machine as Shanks 553 Kubota might be cheaper. Make sure the bolt is not too long as it with jam the blade clutch.
  22. Aspen is 100% fine in all saws of any mix ratio. The new aspen2 FRT is also good for Scooters and outboards. Better lube and even lower emissions!!!
  23. Hi all, Look out for the New Aspen2 FRT coming to your dealer soon!! Lower emissions Cleaner burn and better lube for the engines Aspen2 was very close in spec to HP Ultra and XP oil, it's now even better!!!
  24. Aspen has one part per million of Benzene so almost zero.
  25. Hi, I used to be an MTD lawnflite dealer. Please use OEM as if you do get your non gen's on they won't let you get full speed variation. When you get OEM belts put them next to your None gen belts and check the profile of the belt (the shape and size of it) you will see they are different and so fit in your pulleys differently (too far in or too far out) this changes the overall length. This might be why the non gen won't go on? Kind regards Eddie
