  2. Camping in the South of France on my road trip
  3. Hi Alec, Email me a picture of your Allen as I want to find the oldest machine running on Aspen. [email protected] Kind regards Eddie
  4. Hi, Sorry for the delay in replying. I have had a weeks holiday. If your in that area Roses of Devizes are Aspen stockists. We have been in talks with TH white about stocking Aspen and will keep you all posted on the outcome. All the best Eddie
  5. Have you tried the new Aspen2 FRT? It uses a higher spec oil than HP and XP with a more complete burn of the oil & even cleaner running than Aspen2. Plus all the benefits of Aspen fuel. If you have started running FRT please give me your feed back. [email protected] All the best Eddie
  6. Thanks! If I take some good pictures i'll post them when I get back.
  7. Loading the bike this weekend so I will post another picture after. Went to the Bikers Loft in Belgium a couple of years back but this will be the first time in France & Spain on the bike.
  8. New tyres fitted, ready for my ride though France and Spain next week. Think it will be around 1500 miles.
  9. Thank you for your support! LPG gas is taxed at a lower rate than unleaded because it is cleaner, but these are road fuels and Aspen is for off road engines. So should have no road fuel tax at all! Keep up the good work.
  10. Hi, Its a Husky part and it's called an environmental kit. I have know idea why, to me it's a handle. All the best Eddie
  11. Hi, Just got off the phone to Ambleside Forest & Garden. He has stock of Aspen in both 2&4 and is going to place a new order soon. All the best Eddie
  12. Hi, Have you signed up to get the Road Tax off Aspen? This would make it 58p per litre cheaper for everyone!
  13. Hi, Do you know why they have stopped stocking Aspen? We are seeing record sales each month this year. Seams an odd time to stop just as Aspen kicks off? Kind regards Eddie
  14. Great news! Thank you very much. If everyone on Arb Talk signed up that would be a great start!
  15. Hi Logit, Great news! All the best Eddie
  16. Don't forget if you use Aspen for work and so large volumes your dealer may give you a discount and once you get to 270 litres the fuel is free shipping to your site. Getting the Road Fuel Tax of 57.93p per litre will make a big difference but because Aspen costs more to make it will never cost the same as pump fuel. Please get friends and family to sign up and get this unfair Road Tax removed from off road fuels.
  17. Please get friends and family to sign up as the use of aspen in private kit will save repair bills in the spring from cleaning fuel systems to get mowers going etc...
  18. Contact Carters Of Swanwick in Southampton they have stock of parts and parts lists. tel 01489 575242 You will need S/N or year of manufacture.
  19. Hi Morten, Can you check the UK safety sheet as I understand Motormix is a different mix in other countries as it is made for Stihl by different companies. I could not see this information on Stihl's UK Website
  20. Aspen fuel will keep mixed for 5 years before it starts to change. What do you do with the 200 litre empty drum? As I have said before we are looking into 20/25 litre metal drums for the UK market. I will keep you all posted. Eddie
  21. We don't not stock the 25 litre cans at this time. Sorry
  22. Hi, I have read the Stihl information on their website and the handouts and apart for MotorMix using HP Ultra oil I could not see any mention of health benefits over pump fuel. Aspen was launched in 1988 to reduce the Toxic emissions the forestry workers were exposed to and is 99% cleaner than pump fuel. Aspen keeps for 3-5 years. Aspen2 used to have the same spec 2stroke oil as HP Ultra / XP but now it has even cleaner oil with better lubrication and even less carbon build up. Look out for FRT on the new cans coming soon!
  23. The cost to you the user is the same as buying 5x5 litre cans. We are looking into 20/ 25 litre metal drums to get the cost down but we will have to fill these so might not work out.
  24. Hi, We do two pumps suitable for fuel. One is Plastic and costs about £30 and will do a few drums The other is metal high quality and costs around £260. Cheaper to get free delivery on 270 litres in 5 litre cans. Saving you loads of time in refilling and the risk of contamination of your clean Aspen.
  25. Hi, The plastic 25litre cans will cost the same as 5x 5litre. We are looking into metal 20/ 25 drums but the extra cost of refilling may mean this is a none starter.
