  1. Good choice of fuel, Thank you to everyone who is now on Aspen!
  2. Off to meet the Aspen winner today as I travel round Scotland. Pictures to come later.
  3. Hi, As other Arbtalkers have said Aspen does not contain Ethanol. Carbs are often now found with white deposits inside, this is the ethanol stripping the coating/ plating off the Ally of the carb. Also the pump fuels leave deposits that can block the fine jetting and pathways inside the carb. Aspen would eliminate all of the above issues and guarantees your mix is correct so apart from dirt getting in when refuelling you will have no more fuel related problems. Now is an ideal time to switch and run your new carb on Aspen from day one. Please contact me if you have any questions 07568 108953
  4. Hi, The handle is a Husky part and our new FillPartner (Gray Plasitc) is a Aspen part. All our dealers should have the FillPartner in stock. If not they can order it for you. Thanks for posting your picture. All the Best Eddie
  5. Great work Steve! wow a very good total and to a great charity too! Hope all the winners enjoy their prizes. All the best Eddie
  6. Thank you to everyone who has signed up. Remember anyone can sign and the more name the better!
  7. If the price of Aspen drops we will pass the saving onto the dealers. Please don't forget when petrol was going up in price Aspen has stayed the same since April 2013! With the introduction of the new Aspen2 FRT last year we have also held the price. FRT costs us more but we have taken the extra cost and NOT passed it onto the dealers. Thank you for your support last year and I look forward to a great 2015!
  8. I think your bike is water cooled. You need 2stroke oil designed for a water cooled engine because it runs cooler and so oil for an air cooled engine can soot it up. Chainsaw 2stroke is for air cooled engines.
  9. Hope you all had a great Christmas and I wish you all the best for 2015. Thanks for your support and feedback.
  10. If anyone has dealers they would like to stock Aspen please ask them and contact me with the dealer details and a member of staff as a contact. Thanks for everyone's support over this last year and I wish you all the best for 2015!
  11. Hi, The only time a spark screen will affect you engine is when it starts to block up and restrict exhaust flow. Many dealers and I used to do it take them out when the machine is new because of the old type and low grade oils used it was a safe bet it would block up. With the use of a clean burning fuel and the new extra low soot oil in Aspen2 FRT there is no need to remove it. A retune might be needed if someone has tried to compensate for the restriction in the exhaust by adjusting the carb.
  12. Hi, Please can I have there name so I can follow this up for you. All the best Eddie
  13. Hi div_h, Who would you like to stock Aspen in your area? Have you asked them if they would stock Aspen and if not please do then when I contact them we have more chance of them joining our dealer network. When I cold call a dealer I often get told there is no demand for Aspen as no one has asked for it. So they have no interest in stocking it. We have seen a massive rise in sales this year and I know there is a demand for Aspen. Please help me help you. Kind regards Eddie

  15. Thanks for your reply. All the best Eddie
  16. Hi, Are you sure Aspen is only 65p per litre more then pump fuel? What size containers do you buy and how many at a time? Thanks for your help.
  17. Hi, If you run on Aspen2 FRT the screen won't get blocked so it can stay fitted. When working in a high risk area please leave the spark screen fitted to be as safe as possible.
  18. Hi, The can's are made of the same plastic as mike bottles and so can go in household or commercial recycling. Please remove the cap, sleeve and make sure they are empty. Most dealers have to pay to have recycling collected from their shops, but you can ask.
  19. Hi, Aspen said they had oil guard in the fuel from 2009 to mid 2010 but with drew it because of problems. Husqvarna were going to fit oil guard to all machines but changed plans so it is only on the cut off saw. I can't see the sleeves being changed as they are fitted on all their cans for all markets. You are only the second person to say they have come off, please let me know if other people have this problem. I have been told this can be due to the cans expanding and the contracting which stretches the sleeve. Big changes in temp can do this. Hope this helps.
  20. I will find out, what was it called??
  21. Hi Paul, The new oil offers better lubrication and is even cleaner burning. It also creates almost zero ash (please see FRT information and pictures on our website) We have had FRT Aspen2 in the Uk for about 6months and your the first person to notice. The new oil costs more but we have not put the price up. Hope this helps. All the best Eddie
  22. Hi, I the time I have been dealing with Aspen it has never had a colour added. It is yellow from the 2stroke oil used. Hope this answers your question.
  23. Hi, If your switching fuels for the health benefits please check out all the information on what is in the fuels. A quick way to check is look at the labelling on the back of the can and see the spec sheet on the suppliers website.
  24. Hi all, This year has been great for Aspen as I feel the whole attitude as changed to the point people want to know more about it so they can make their own minds up if it for them. As you all will see from our dealer map we are always adding new dealers. We are also working hard to get the dealers we have to explain Aspen to more and more potential users. One of the hardest things with Aspen is to explain all the benefits as people have different reasons for switching fuels. As always please suggest dealers you would like to stock Aspen and I will contact them. Thank you for all your support. Eddie
  25. Hi Andy, As has already been said Aspen is a different fuel and so sometimes needs a carb tune to get the best from running Aspen. With the auto tune Saws do they have a set up procedure to reset them? If so this might get it running 100% right on Aspen. Please contact direct me if your Saws are still not running as you would like on Aspen. [email protected] 07568108953 Kind regards Eddie
