  1. Hi all, The other week we had a stand at the Saltex ground care show. We should have 10 or more new dealers soon and I hope these will fill some of the gaps in our dealer coverage. This year coming I will not be doing many shows but focusing on our dealers and helping them understand how Aspen is good business and supporting them. Please let me know by phone 07568 108953 email [email protected] or PM me if you feel your dealer could offer better service or if you can suggest a possible new stockist! As always you can use the above if you have any questions or issues regarding our fuel. Thanks again for all your support. Eddie
  2. I am hoping to make some calls in this area this week and see if we can get someone closer to you and get this gap filled on the map. As Barrie says you can order aspen though a dealer and have it delivered direct to you! I will keep you posted as we get new dealers and please keep checking the map as we keep it up to date. Thanks again for your support.
  3. We have better results getting independent dealers on board with Aspen. If anyone has a long drive to buy Aspen let us know and we will try and set up dealers in that area to fill gaps on our map. If you can suggest a dealer and give a contact name that always helps. The best way is to ask your local machinery dealer to stock Aspen and let them know there is a market and you will buy from them. Then when we contact them we have a higher chance of getting them to join our ever growing dealer network. Please keep checking the map as we update it every time to get a new shop. Thank you all in advance. Eddie
  4. Hi, It will still expand with heat but so much and our cans are not as hard as the green petrol cans so the can moves and does not build up so much pressure. Aspen won't "gas up" like normal fuel because it does not have any solvents. It will still kill the grass but is kinder to the environment than petrol. Hope this helps.
  5. Hello all, New Aspen dealer in Wales! Caerfagu Products Ltd Nantmel Llandrindod Wells, Powys Wales LD1 6EF [email protected] 01597 823087
  6. Hi Ian, The map is 100% up to date and we are working hard to fill in gaps on the map. Who would you like to buy Aspen from? All the best Eddie
  7. Hi all, Aspen is made by Aspen Sweden and wherever you see it, it has all come from the same factory. As many of you have noticed Aspen has machinery brand names added for certain markets to be sold thought those dealers. Aspen is even approved by Stihl! Yes we are looking at camping and motorcycle storage markets, please check out our website and you will see lots of uses for Aspen and some great pictures! Thanks again and please get in touch if you have any questions or interesting things running on Aspen. Eddie
  8. Hi, You might have a different spec motorMix to us in the Uk. I am sure someone can confirm if this is correct. Cleaner fuel and better burningl is always the best option if you care about your own health. When I tell dealers that the black dust on everything in their workshop has come from the exhausts of the machinery they have worked on they are all shocked! We do our best to train all staff at our Aspen dealers so they have facts and understanding to share with you the users.
  9. Hi all, Thank you for your support. We are always here for help and support and if you would like to compare the two products we have lots of information on our website. The oil used in Aspen2 was launched at the end of last year after 3 years of real world testing. This is the latest clean burning and high lubricating 2stroke designed for chainsaw engines. Just got back from a trip to Aspen Sweden and I was surprised to find out Aspen as 80% of the German pre mixed 2 stroke market. You can always contact me direct on 07568108953 or [email protected] Once again thank you for your support.
  10. Hi all, Just so everyone knows. Aspen has no solvents so will not clean or dissolve old fuel. The only way Aspen will improve a fuel system is by washing dirt though and moving it. The advantage is that Aspen will not leave more or any deposits in your fuel system. So could be seen as cleaning it in a way.
  11. I am very sorry to hear that your saw has seized up. Please contact me directly or our office and we will help you all we can. I would have liked to see the saw before it was stripped down but I would still like to see the parts myself. Next week I am at the factory in Sweden and then booked to be in Scotland but the following week I can come and meet you. Please call me on 07568108953 or email [email protected] office number 01929 551557 our new office address is on our website, just google aspen fuel .............................................................................................. Note to anyone else who has any issues with our products. Please lets us know so we can help.
  12. Hi all, Its great to hear you all either using Aspen or thinking about how it will benefit you. If you break the cost down to the extra per day, could you could charge the extra to your customer for each job? Unless you are cutting none stop you might not use that many litres per day so this could be a good way to use Aspen at no extra cost to you. Please remember to keep checking our website for Aspen information and seeing the new dealers being listed on the map as we add on average 2 new shops a month. We are always here for help and advise direct to you. [email protected] 07568108953 Please talk to your local shops about stocking Aspen if they don't already as we want to help you have access to Aspen. Thank you all once again. Eddie
  13. Hi Alec, Aspen will keep fresh and ready to use for 5 years in the can or your fuel tank. Also the plastic / rubber parts of the fuel system will live longer with aspen. Lower exhaust emissions and low smell from the fuel. If you haven't already give it a try and see what you think. You can always contact me direct on 07568 108953 or [email protected]
  14. Great stuff! Pleased it was just the carb kit and now it's up and running. When you use Aspen2 you may have to adjust the idle stop and maybe the low speed jet but best just to try it first and adjust as and if needed. Any questions give me a call 07568108953 Eddie
  15. Hi dggriff, The other guys have coved it very well and Barrie is spot on! If you have any questions or need more help please contact me on 07568108953 or email [email protected] Please let us know how you get on. Kind regards Eddie.
  16. Hi, Yes we thought it was very low on numbers and dead by 3pm
  17. Hello all, Great day today everyone was very positive about Aspen! Come and see us on Stand B4 next to Forest and Arb Hope the sun shines like it did today!
  18. I can see you have not used the correct laptop as it is not orange!
  19. Take the spark plug or plugs out and see if it turns over faster and if the buzzing has done. If it sounds electrical like a buzzer it might be low battery voltage as suggested by Barrie or a safety switch alarm? If is sound like a jammed electric motor then that's want it is! so removing the spark plug should help you to confirm this. If this helps it sounds like a decompressor problem or valves. If the motor is still having a hard time turning the engine check the belts are not dragging or jammed. Call me in working hours 07568 108953 when you are with the mower.

    Aspen cans

Hi Kav, Apart from not having the cans to recycle one drum will cost £40 delivery and the metal pumps we sell cost around £200 but will last. Add that to the time spent handling and the risk of dirt contamination before decide the drum is the cheaper option. Pumps can be supplied by your local Aspen dealer. Don't forget dealers offer free delivery direct to you on a pallet (54x5 litres) and discount. so per litre it works out cheaper to buy 270 in 5 litres than 200 in a drum. Kind regards Eddie
  21. I worked at a Stihl main dealer for over 2 years and we PDI'ed all machinery inc chainsaws before we handed them over to the customer. I would run though with every customer oil, fuel, chain adjustment, basic service and safety. The saw would be run and checked for chain brake, oiler and good running. I would hope all dealers do this to make sure equipment is safe and to reduce comebacks and warranty clams. That's why I am not in favour of machinery being sold on line because I like it passed to the customer ready to use. This also supports local business so we all have somewhere to get things fixed / serviced and pick up parts to keep machinery working. If we all buy online to save a few pounds then they will die out.
  22. Hi, If you need data just look up the history of Aspen fuel and why it was made in the first place. You might need to translate it from Swedish but might be worth a look. If you can smell the exhaust that means you are breathing it in. The smoke from 2strokes is unburnt oil and inhaling that is not good for anyone. If there was doubt about Aspens health benefits then it would not be law to use Alkylate fuels in small engine machinery in some European countries and Aspen would not still be sold on its health advantages 27 years after it was first launched. All I ask is for people to try Aspen and see for themselves and be fair. All the best Eddie

    Aspen cans

Hi all, Aspen cans are made of the same plastic as milk bottles and when fully empty can be put in household or commercial recycling. I would suggest you remove the sleeve / label as most bin men won't know what Aspen is or the type of plastic the cans are made from. Also as stated above if you put a large amount of anything in your household waste it will be declined. I have contacted UK recyclers and after checking they are happy to take the empty cans with the caps/ lids removed. Please contact me direct if you need more help 07568108953 or [email protected]
  24. Cat engines will need low soot oil so they don't block up. HP Ultra, XP etc... or Aspen2 fuel.
  25. Hi, if you have any questions please contact me. 07568 108953 [email protected] Kind regards Eddie
