  1. Hi, I have been in talks with Confor about support with fighting this unfair tax. It seems the pressure for any industry body to help needs to come from it's members. Any reduction or even deletion of this tax will help the environment and the users as more cleaner fuels will be used. http://r20.rs6.net/tn.jsp?f=0019nNQhgfLs3OY-5M0YIA9xOoAe1X4QEWwO0UPHAb9a6AKX6dbCHdKo2KBM71I16YAS9EufLCKCLQ4Z3RUEuKJlmkz2bP2nPWRHNltFFmqV3-4YrQhYeByvPIoRulbF7Zbxa2ZaGH83cDw2wPvmHWosqb21r1nVojsGP7UG9rr1xoQBHUzqPZcVg==&c=uqecyPgLJZoen39lEJvsK8mQ6LbPqGjKi0v7PF3YbPW8GyCktkNbwg==&ch=iaMZYV98SMerDAOcmUp5h5hq9aR5XXHvqTlzzfkPh8QQkW1tP8YRmw== Above is the link to our petition to remove this unfair tax. Thank you all for your support. Eddie
  2. Hi Stubby, Great news that all your kit is on Aspen! When you have used up your old 2stroke oil try some Aspen2 FRT. This fuel & oil has be designed to work together in small 2stroke engines (mainly chainsaws) You might see better performance and it will have lower emissions. Is the redline oil for air or water cooled 2strokes? All the best Eddie
  3. Hi Macpherson, Thank you for trying Aspen, please let me know how you get on. As said before Aspen solves different issues for different people storage, fumes or reliability of machinery. I agree running it in a car or large outboard would not be practical but we suggest just using Aspen for storage. Also I have a 5 litre can of Aspen4 in the boot of my classic car as back up if I run out of fuel. Better than tipping gone off fuel in to get me home! If anyone has any questions give me a call 07568 108953 8:30-5:30 weekdays. All the best Eddie
  4. Hi, I would think you were told that Aspen has tax because we have a bonded warehouse and so show the fuel tax when we invoice the dealer and other suppliers of different fuels my pay the tax at their end and so the dealer won't see it being charged.
  5. Hi, Aspen is the cleanest form of fuel for normal petrol engines. It produces 99% cleaner emissions than normal pump unleaded petrol. Aspen is produced from crude oil so still a fossil fuel.
  6. Hi, Many people are having problems with fuel and Aspen has many benefits that solve different issues for different users. If you would like to know more about fuels please call me on 07568 108953 or email me. [email protected] Kind regards Eddie
  7. Hi all, Great news that more people are giving Aspen a try and seeing for themselves what all the fuss is about! To all those who have used Aspen for some time, thank you! I am always here for help and advise on 07568 108953 or email [email protected] If you have used aspen for some time my office would love to hear about it. Let us know what type of business you have and what machines you run on Aspen. Tell us why you switched and what changes it has made for you. Email [email protected] All the best Eddie
  8. Hi, I think we have two battles. The first is to explain what Aspen is and why it should be used instead of unleaded fuel. The second is getting people to do something (sign the petition) Thank you all for your support and we will just keep plugging away. All the best Eddie
  9. Hi, Dealers and manufactures all say the biggest cause of breakdowns is fuel. More replacement carburettors have been fitted to small engine machinery in the last few years than ever before. They have become finer jetted and none adjustable in many cases. Dealers try to clean carbs but often the only option is to replace them. The fire service are starting to switch to Aspen as their small engine kit has become unreliable because of the fuel. Diaphragms, fuel pips and primmers will live longer as Aspen won't damage them like unleaded does. Using Aspen will reduce if not eliminate these breakdowns and so save money. Many pro users look at Aspen as insurance against fuel problems as any question about quality or mix ratio is down to us. RRP is show on our website and I am sure your local dealer will do you a deal if you are using a good few litres. The dealer can even arrange for the premixed fuel to be delivered direct to you to save you time. Talk to guys who do use Aspen everyday and see what they say.
  10. Hi, Aspen has stayed at the same RRP since April 2013. The new FRT 2stroke oil costs more but we have held the same price. It is the process that makes Aspen Alkylate petrol that is the main expense. There is only a very small amount of a drum of crud oil used so if there is a price drop in the future it will not be the same scale as unleaded. Yes the cost of unleaded has come down but has the cost of your health? The cost of repair labour? The cost of replacement parts? Using Aspen fuels makes your business, your equipment and yourself more efficient!
  11. Hi all, We now have two fire service rescue boats running on Aspen4 and I feel the small outboard market would suit Aspen with it's storage benefits. Maybe use Aspen in the tank on the outboard and run normal unleaded in your main tank. As you come into port switch to Aspen so the carb is filled and you store the engine with long life fuel. Then when the mood takes you just pull the rope or turn the key and she with fire up for you next time you want to go out on the water. Aspen is supported by Mercury Marine.
  12. Hi IC Trees, Give me a call on 07568 108953 and I will see if I can help get your 200t's running better on Aspen. All the best Eddie

  14. Hi all, Have you heard that Aspen was improved last year with a change in the oil used. FRT oil is now used please see Aspen Fuel :: One fuel for all - Aspen 2 full range technology This oil was designed and tested to work in chainsaws and valve in head 2strokes like the 4-mix engine. It has been tested in the real world for 3 years before being launched. There is a lot of talk about fuels, Aspen was designed as a chainsaw fuel from the start. The fact it is used and endorsed by one of the worlds largest chainsaw manufactures says a lot.
  15. Hi all, Most small engine manufacturer information says that the use of fuel with a higher ethanol content then 10% will void warranty. Aspen was developed to combat the toxic exhaust fumes forestry workers were exposed too. If you chose to use additives please read the back of the bottle to find out what is in them. Now consider Aspen fuel has only 10 ingredients and none of them are Toxic! If you want to know if the Ethanol shields really work, ask why Aspen has made such a buzz in the classic motorcycle seen here in the UK? Did you know that many very well known small engine manufacturers and importers use Aspen in their own workshops and demonstration machines. But push their own additives to UK mower dealers! Kind regards Eddie
  16. Hi Truncator, I get asked this all the time! Aspen has been at the same price since April 2013 and we have even up graded the 2stroke oil to the new FRT oil at no extra cost to you the user. There is a very small amount of a drum of crude oil used to make Aspen fuel so the percentage drop if there is one will not be the same as the change in the cost of crude or the cost of normal petrol. Please remember that normal petrol contains well over 100 ingredients that are added to dilute it and bring the cost down. Aspen only contains 10 ingredients that's why it is 100% cleaner on emissions and will keep for years.
  17. Hi Carpenter, I have just phoned DGM and they have stock of Aspen4. They are having a chipper demo day today might be worth popping down. All the best Eddie
  18. Hi, As already said Aspen2 uses a very high grade oil far better than oils of the past. We have many garden machinery dealers using Aspen2 in all 2stroke garden and forest machinery they work on. I was told that collectors of classic chainsaws in Europe use Aspen2 in all their collection. We have a common Q&A page on our website for more information or contact me direct on; 07568 108953 or email [email protected] All the best Eddie
  19. Thank you all for signing up! Don't forget anyone can sign if the feel that this is an unfair tax. We need more names!! All the best Eddie
  20. Hi Carpenter1, I have had many customers tell me that Aspen4 in their mowers has made them more economical and the starting is so much easier. Give it a trail run and see how much more Aspen4 does cost. You can always contact me on 07568 108953 All the Eddie
  21. Hi all, My main goal is the get the fuel tax off the 2stroke Aspen2 fuel. This will not be used on the road as their are very few premixed engines on the still about. We are suggesting Aspen4 is used as a storage fuel for classic bikes and as it is sold in 5 litre containers it's not practical for road use. Aspen is so different from normal petrol it won't be hard to HM customs to tell if it's Aspen in the tank or not. No need to red dye. Thank you all for your support and keep getting names on the petition. All the best Eddie
  22. Hi, A very disappointing response from dealer and customers. Without more names and support I don't have much chance, but I will keep emailing the people in power and talking to them in my travels. Anyone can sign who feels this is an unfair tax! All the best Eddie
  23. Hi, Just got this from a Stihl dealer. Hi Eddie It should auto tune but a guarunteed reset with any M Tronic is to start the machine and perform 5 uniform cuts at full revs on a reasonable sized piece of timber. Hope that helps. Any problems call me on 07568 108953 All the best Eddie
  24. Hi, I have not heard of anyone needing to use a computer to reset any saws to run on Aspen fuel. You may need to check your hand book to see how long to idle for and how long you work it for it to reset or retune. I will find out me today and get back to you ASAP
  25. Hi David, If you would like me to contact your work and explain the full benefits of Aspen to them I would be happy to help. Email [email protected] or call me on 0756810953
