  1. I’ve just bought a one and it fits my head perfectly (I’ve got a small head), the vertex vent used to be a big big. It’s a brilliant helmet but does anyone find it makes your head itch ?
  2. I have the zermatt boots and think they are brilliant. Lasted nearly 3 years, I’m just waiting for Black Friday to replace them and hopefully get a discount.
  3. We’ve not long got a 12ft or 16ft can’t remember but now I wonder how I lived without it. It’s a henchman
  4. Sorry to hear that, I think the obvious chains, clamps and hitch locks are a good idea. The thing is that chains and clamps only seem to stop an opportunist as appose to a well equipped thief. I’d probably install a loud siren inside and outside with a cage around it so it can’t be broken easily. That way the noise will get people’s attention and hopefully they’ll go before the get through the chains or anyone comes to see what set the sirens off. May seem a bit over the top but if it keeps your tools safe why not. 127db Intruder Burglar Alarm Siren - VERY, VERY LOUD! 127db Intruder Burglar Alarm Siren - VERY, VERY LOUD!: Amazon.co.uk: DIY & Tools WWW.AMAZON.CO.UK Shop 127db Intruder Burglar Alarm Siren - VERY, VERY LOUD!. Free delivery on eligible orders of £20 or more.
  5. Not used one myself but have you looked at tp, looking on there website they do a 10 inch machine. The tp280
  6. Think I’d definitely sell the place if I lived there. I’ve not had any personally but my dad was on a job coincidentally I think that was Canturbury a good few years ago. Anyway they offered a tea he went in then heard loud banging upstairs like some one was running. Apparently it happens frequently but if you go upstairs it then moves to the loft. They said no one was brave enough to then go in the loft to follow it. Needless to say my dad didn’t offer too look in the loft [emoji23]
  7. I’ve got the mk 1 husky t540. While I really like the saw, apart from needing choke if not used for 5 minutes. I think the stihl 201 is a little bit better (not by massive amounts), but if you go for the stihl or husky I don’t think you’d be disappointed with either.
  8. Removed this row of poplars for a cricket field. It really helped with the telehandler on site taking away the logs
  9. I thought red bull already do this?
  10. Have you considered the Toyota landcruiser commercial? It only has a 3 ton towing limit but you might be able to up-rate it. Toyota Land Cruiser 2.8 Utility Commercial 3dr RARE LANDCRUISER COMMERCIAL WWW.AUTOTRADER.CO.UK Price: £29,994. Very rare Landcruiser Short Wheel Base finished in Astral Black. Dual zone air conditioning, remote locking, keyless entry and automatic sensors are standard. Warranty until March 2023. Price excludes VAT
  11. Haven’t ever drove one but I’m sure they can tow 3.5 ton and still have a ton on the back legally. I might be talking rubbish though so I would check
  12. Removal of all the poplars in the first photo, which the majority are completely rotten. They all have to be winched back as to not damage a cricket ground.
  13. I’ve got the st6p and think it’s a brilliant machine, not too bad on fuel either.
  14. I personally wouldn’t bother with anything under 5 million public liability insurance, but as said it depends on your type of work.
  15. Get Steve bullman on here to do it he makes brilliant websites. I used to have one I made myself but it was absolutely rubbish
  16. I have a t540 mk1 I think it’s a good saw but it does need choke a lot as I find it cools down very quick. Which can get a bit annoying sometimes. I’ve used the 201tcm and would say it’s probably a bit better than my 540 but not by massive amounts.
  17. Been let down I’ve got an overgrown garden (it’s a large garden) that needs to be mulched. Does anyone know anyone that covers this area it’s only needed for a day, dont think it’ll take that long to be honest. Thanks
  18. I find they all want the work done for nothing and are getting about 8 quotes. I only use my Facebook for a portfolio as you know. I’ve probably had about 5 jobs from Facebook at most.
  19. I’ve got a ranger and put air suspension on after getting it converted to a tipper. Definitely recommend it and it doesn’t take too long to do and I’m far from mechanically minded
  20. Good advice I just need to get my content up to scratch now.
  21. Does anyone know of any where that hires 3ton excavators with a log grab. I know coppard do but it’s a bit far from the job. Thanks
  22. Majestic trees and provender nurseries will be worth a try
  23. I think when I done my 30/31 38/39 it was all city and guilds.
  24. I’m my opinion I think you would be better getting city and guilds courses rather than the lantra equivalents. Stand to be corrected though but I think city & guilds are more recognised.
  25. I put an Oregon bar on my t540 after the original bar came apart. It’s lasting ok but when that goes I’ll probably get a sugihara bar
