Sorry to hear that, I think the obvious chains, clamps and hitch locks are a good idea. The thing is that chains and clamps only seem to stop an opportunist as appose to a well equipped thief. I’d probably install a loud siren inside and outside with a cage around it so it can’t be broken easily. That way the noise will get people’s attention and hopefully they’ll go before the get through the chains or anyone comes to see what set the sirens off. Think I’d definitely sell the place if I lived there. I’ve not had any personally but my dad was on a job coincidentally I think that was Canturbury a good few years ago. Anyway they offered a tea he went in then heard loud banging upstairs like some one was running. Apparently it happens frequently but if you go upstairs it then moves to the loft. They said no one was brave enough to then go in the loft to follow it. Needless to say my dad didn’t offer too look in the loft [emoji23]

I’ve got the mk 1 husky t540. While I really like the saw, apart from needing choke if not used for 5 minutes. I think the stihl 201 is a little bit better (not by massive amounts), but if you go for the stihl or husky I don’t think you’d be disappointed with either.

Removed this row of poplars for a cricket field. It really helped with the telehandler on site taking away the logs

Haven’t ever drove one but I’m sure they can tow 3.5 ton and still have a ton on the back legally. I might be talking rubbish though so I would check

Removal of all the poplars in the first photo, which the majority are completely rotten. They all have to be winched back as to not damage a cricket ground.

I personally wouldn’t bother with anything under 5 million public liability insurance, but as said it depends on your type of work.

I have a t540 mk1 I think it’s a good saw but it does need choke a lot as I find it cools down very quick. Which can get a bit annoying sometimes. I’ve used the 201tcm and would say it’s probably a bit better than my 540 but not by massive amounts.

Been let down I’ve got an overgrown garden (it’s a large garden) that needs to be mulched. Does anyone know anyone that covers this area it’s only needed for a day, dont think it’ll take that long to be honest. Thanks

I find they all want the work done for nothing and are getting about 8 quotes. I only use my Facebook for a portfolio as you know. I’ve probably had about 5 jobs from Facebook at most.

I’ve got a ranger and put air suspension on after getting it converted to a tipper. Definitely recommend it and it doesn’t take too long to do and I’m far from mechanically minded
