Hi Jon ,

What's happening mate ?

2. I know how you feel TCD , weather here is brutal . It started raining at the end of October and a farmer mate of mine recons we haven't had a dry 24 hours since . Ground is sodden , can't get any kit into woods or fields . If it wasn't for domestic work we would be in trouble , gonna take weeks to dry out the ground , even if it does change . Got up to snow this morning !!
3. I would say so . Hard to tell from the pic but it was a fairly big tree and I only had a phone and no climbing kit
4. Been working in Ardnamurchan this week , came across this .
5. Husky 550 , light and fast
6. I've been there got the t shirt , aaaaagony . They gave me a cortisone injection and managed to catch some nerves all that did was make it worse !! You have my sympathy , all that worked for me was taking it easy and waiting till it got better .
7. It's not been the same since Julia Bradbury left , I'd have loved a roam around with her !!
8. I'm sure you are correct on both points . Scotland this year has been extremely wet , in fact where we are it has really been raining solid since about October !! If a tyre is gonna help me get the job done and the location is suitable I might just have to use one . Obviously I would prefer dry / slightly wet / pretty wet brash to the heavy greasy soaking stuff we get at the moment .
9. What you up to Jon ? Torrential rain and wind here again , so I'm indoors ( again ) !!
10. Wish I was a good bit younger , I'd have loved a chance like this . I'm sure there will be a que for this offer .
11. We get old engine oil from the garage and mix some red diesel with it , fairly keeps the fire going , also find the odd tyre goes well , but not close to houses !!
12. Nice to see the trucks sitting on grass Paul , no way you could do that here !! I've a job to do on an estate but it's ankle deep mud and I can't get near it .
13. They look the part , pretty expensive though.
14. Get the cut and climb , I've tried a right few jackets and it's the best by miles and there can't be many places in the UK as wet as here .
15. I always wore Haix Tibet forest , fell to bits very quickly. Meindl Woodwalkers on the ground these days , found them very good so far , about a year old .
16. That's why I use Aspen ! Takes human error out of the equation
17. As said bg85 is better than the 86 , we have two of each , 85's are in constant use , 86's tend to be left in the shed . I much prefer a back pack myself.
18. BFG's can't beat them , imo
19. We have had the same problems here , bin raining for months , I've never seen my logs so wet . Gonna have to look at more indoor solutions for the future.
20. Aye Jon , Charnwood
21. We had a very similar problem with my wifes Audi , first crank in the morning a large triangle with exclamation and no start . Turn off , turn on wait till warning disappeared then it would start . Turned out to be a faulty instrument cluster .
22. Nice bit of kit that .
