  2. Sounds like a carb or fuel issue a new (genuine stihl) carb is about £80 give or take but get fuel pipes done as well as they can get minuscule pricks and draw air. I'd go for a 12" with a dime and a new sprocket but that's me! Hope this helps pal Rhino Sent using Rhinos Arbtalk Mobile App

  5. How do, good on you for your voluntary work, I'm an explorer scout leader (what was ventures for the older amongst you) but I'd be game to help out. Let me know any/all details as soon as you know pal, I can turn my hand to most things and have a lot of experience in storm damaged/hung up trees Hope to hear soon Ryan Sent using Rhinos Arbtalk Mobile App
  6. Not too bad with the built in lockers but Utterly useless on mud, grass, gravel, snow, even verges beyond useless off road, not a bad van for size and load but when loaded can rock a little. And it has a "race" gear box which takes some getting used to haha not a bad van though haha Sent using Rhinos Arbtalk Mobile App
  7. I use pfanner stretch air boots and trousers but it's very expensive (also very very good).... A good pair of hiax boots and stihl hi-flex trousers are probably your best bet as a cheap reliable starting point Hope this helps Stay safe and cut wood! Sent using Rhinos Arbtalk Mobile App
  8. Have worn them for the last 4 years, all 3 pairs still going strong (only one busted pocket zip on one pair) bits of patching here and there from silkys and dog rose (grrrr) would never buy anything else now! So comfortable and believe me worth there weight every day. Sent using Rhinos Arbtalk Mobile App

  13. My mistake I didn't think it was chicken of the woods, the chicken of the woods I've seen on oak stems tends to be thicker and more "rounded" (see attached picture) Sent using Rhinos Arbtalk Mobile App

  19. 37 as a minimum but I always go for a 45 or a 50, with a 25 you will be restricted as to how much of a branch walk or swing you can do Hope this helps Sent using Rhinos Arbtalk Mobile App
  20. Set yourself up at a sole trader (Andys tree care or something of the sort) and start asking around getting in with some companies a day here a week there and before you know it you could be turning work away, I've been subbying for about 3 years on and off and it has it's good points and bad, just make sure you account for your tax allowance and your stamp in your rates and I'd say save save save for as long as possible because you never know what will happen! As for insurance the companies insurance will cover you unless you are doing your own work In which case you should get some, i have insurance but i do my own work if i was you yo keep costs down I'd just insure kit and life insurance Hope this helps Sent using Rhinos Arbtalk Mobile App
  21. Forget the cheap nock offs and DIY saws in the pro range the MS201t has to be the worst! It's pick up is turd, it's gutless and to be fair it doesn't make a very good door wedge or paper weight so it's utterly useless Rant over haha Sent using Rhinos Arbtalk Mobile App
  22. Take two anti diarrhoea tablets and two pints of vimpto this will get all the fluids, sugars and salts back in your system that you need! Either that or 1 anti diarrhoea tablet and a dextrosol tablet and the two pints of vimpto (other cordials available!) Sent using Rhinos Arbtalk Mobile App
