  1. I don't think the bacteria are able to digest lignin or cellulose. I'll ask the bosses son as he is involved in installing them.
  2. Sorry spud I searched but couldn't find an answer. Thanks for the replies everyone.
  3. Anyone do it? is it worth while?
  4. Just been with a delivery of 2250 punnets of finest Yorkshire strawberries. It was flipping hot!!
  5. Dow shield is still available. It has been reformulated and is now double the strength of previous Dow shield. The label has also changed ie some crops/ situations have been lost!
  6. I'm not really concerned merely surprised. Rob D it is a gb bar from yourself via ebay, old stock or something. I would have had a sugihara but don't think you had what I wanted (15 inch 3/8, 0.58 K095 mount) maybe next time!
  7. I've never had this before. I put a new bar( + Chain) on and started to cut some of my dry knotty logs, before i'd used one tank the paint had become really soft and essentially rubbed off. There is now hardly any left except the nose sprocket which has obviously been previously painted to match other bars from the same manufacturer. I'm not really bothered but compared to my oregon bars its pretty poor .This bar is a GB pro top and is showing no heat discolouring/ damage.
  8. Russels in Boroughbridge less than a half mile from the A1 maybe 12 from lightwater valley. They are well stocked but it is always worth ringing to check stock (01423 324848) Brian the parts manager is very helpful.
  9. Husky 181se 1983 not in daily use but always starts, just put a new 28 " bar on. Mostly used for ringng up big stuff.
  10. Often said by a work mate of mine .... you might as well wish in one hand and sh1t in the other. You know which will be full first!

    Husky 136

Is the husky 136 a good old saw or just an old saw with poor anti vibe low power etc. I know it's a home owner model. Worth £30?
  13. Fenomenal seems a very versatile product. It can be a drench, a root dip and foliar spray. On non food crops I,m sure there will be a degree of flexibility in its use. We also use shirlan (a potato blight spray) for raspberry root rot. There is a specific euma regarding this. The CRD section of the hse website lists all sprays/crops situations but is not very intuative to use but ultimately is the most up to date
  14. We have been recomended to use double rate phosphite foliar feed such as Phorce or hortiphyte on our strawberries (10 acres) research has shown that it does the same as aliette. the plants convert it to the same active (according to ADAS) I can't lay my hands on any references at the moment.Rather than 8l/ha we do 4l/ha twice as frequently/
  15. There are some lovely little valtra 2wd loader tractors for £9.500.
  16. Looks like t could be a versatile little thing but the price is a bit eye watering!
  17. A64 York- Scarborough 'bout 4 miles from York @the Towthorpe turning
  18. Try holly it's like iron when dry.
  19. Been watching all week, only 2 miles from me but I couldn't justify another! Only went for £281 someone got a bargain.
  20. I'd better start saving!
  21. How much are they likely to cost when in this country?
  22. I'm pretty sure Petemate390xp just sold his little holder skidder on ebay and made a bit of money. there is now a copy of his advert selling his tractor again this time in exeter item number 111070230271.Genuine or a fiddle?
  23. I've had the same thing happen after i replaced my exhaust on an old 181. Is there any kind of threadlock that can withstand the heat from the engine/exhaust?
  24. Same here but I'm never in when the package arrives so I can't stash it.
  25. Absolutely a good buy I just lost my nerve.(there'd have been a lot of explaining to the wife!)
