  1. Yeah had it a while now, fantastic machine although there have been a couple of niggles along the way. Will pop by if I make it to the apf
  2. That's fantastic, I have an m500 and am near Lincoln so just down the road for spares and service etc
  3. That the 620sx? What's it like? Been wondering as haven't really heard anything since its release
  4. I have had 2 I phones unlocked from O2 for free. Just called O2 and requested an unlock, they ask for your imei number and set things in motion, then all that's left to do is complete the unlock by connecting to the iTunes it was originally synced with...its that simple
  5. If you don't have access to a braked trailer then you can only tow a max gross weight of 750kg so you'll be lucky to get half a ton of hardcore at a time.
  6. I know that feeling, spent an entire day winching wind blown willows our of a local pond with a 5 ton turfor cause there was no access for tractor mounted winch and I swore it would never happen again haha hence considering other options. I like the look of the portable winch but would probably opt for the Lewis chainsaw winch due to its higher capacity. When considering making a winch I was looking at a 4000lb winch and either 1 or 2 110ah battery's mounted to a trolley of some description so it would be completely portable
  7. *cal, silly auto correct
  8. I use a 50 can ammo tin, excellent tool boxes.
  9. This is mine and it definitely goes anywhere haha. Sadly doesn't get used though as no mot atm and had to replace it with a larger vehicle as it wasn't quite up to towing all the time
  10. I've pulled over the rated towing weight with mine for a short distance but it's slow and not really adviseable, if your wanting to be doing that then it isn't really the right vehicle, just thought that for the extraction purposes it would be good but no point in getting one if it's not up to the other jobs you have for it, it's towing capacity is 1300kg by the way
  11. If it were me I would be getting a suzuki jumny and sticking a winch and a set of mud tyres on it, cheap as you like to buy and run and from experience they are fantastic little truck and would be excellent for extraction with one of these behind it http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Logster-ATV-Timber-Trailer-All-new-Design-New-features-/221508015866?pt=UK_BOI_FarmingEquipment_RL&hash=item3392e816fa I beg to differ on the not using atv's on serious slopes. I worked on a hill farm on exmoor for 4 years and it would surprise most people exactly where you can get a quad bike if you know what your doing and with good enough tyres. A decent quad will go literally anywhere!!
  12. I did want a light weight portable rig, but not sure it'll work, just gonna have to bite the bullet and get either the Lewis or the portable winch. Was trying to think of a way to reduce the cost a bit as neither of the aforementioned winches are cheap
  13. Well nothing specific really, just considering options for a powered portable winch that's all, it's probably a long shot making one and I may just be better buying one
  14. Have been considering making up some sort of portable winch using a super winch and a leisure battery mounted to some sort of a trolley, looks like you can get a solar trickle charger too. Just wondered what people thought of this and weather it's worth doing or not?
  15. I've had a similar problem on my galaxy s4 for months but mine says arbtalk stopped working, reported it over a month ago
  16. I haven't found spares a problem, just get in touch with Jason at forest and arb and he will sort you out Couldn't agree more with the review above. It's a fantastic saw and really flies if you drop it down to a 12" b and c! May have to get the spark arrestor out if it proves a fruitful mod
  17. About 30' at a guess judging by those bottom jibs, pretty impressive and im pretty sure it would scare the turd out of me haha, not a fan of wobbling about in a MEWP
  18. Carbon fiber is very hard and brittle so you run the risk of chipping/cracking them if you walk around in then where as the ally one will just get indents I would definitely go with the ally ones with velcro top and buckle bottom, don't even know your wearing them. I'd also get a steel core with a captive eye crab on a swivel, I didn't and it can be a bit of a pain having a standard crab floating about in the end
  19. I have no input as to cures but I know a good repellent...sas maintainance lubricant haha, was being eaten alive the other day and sprayed this stuff on exposed skin and didn't see another horse fly for the rest of the day
  20. The spouts on the husky can fit
  21. What have you done to your exhaust? I'm a good while off the warranty being out but when it is ill consider an exhaust mod
  22. In short...yes. can't fault it at all, great ergonomics and plenty of power. I'm sure a few others will be on to back me up shortly haha
  23. Yeah., had it drilled into me about nice final cuts then I see this haha. Just got me wondering why as im sure it's not done for no reason
  24. Please excuse me for being dumb but im still learning and not very experienced. What is the reason for pruning in this way?
  25. Just looks like a steady day for 2 men to me.1 climber and one second climber/groundy. I'd climb that and im not overly experienced in the grand scheme of things
