    Garlic?

Fill your bath up to the brim as well as sinks. Then pull the plugs out. Try again. If the smell is still there you may have a french rat in your pipes! Seriously though try the bath fill method and if you have a plunger try using that as well.
  2. Thats a really nice collection there Roni. I've got Carrbridge in my diary, enjoyed watching last year. Think it would be a few years to get to your standard !!! I like the combination of different styles as well. The badger has given me an idea for a nice log I have lying around.
  3. Your code is correct for the files. The filing kit is 5605 007 1000. This will include the correct holder with file and importantly the correct depth gauge tool. Your code is a box of six files. Well thats what I got anyways.
  4. Remember it's a 3.2mm filing kit required stihl part no. 5605 007 1000.
  5. If your not happy with the bigger bar just get a 10" They are not expensive then you have more options.
  6. Is that a bit of eccentric chuck action? Very nice.
  7. Disease will sort out the population problem. It's natures way of keeping things in check.
  8. Great idea for flower beds.
  9. :deal:It is something to shout about. Congratulations.
  10. Do a lot of pottering about online Stronghold Kingdoms nut too. Playing abit of guitar to get the fingers back on track. like doing the cooking to reduce stress and the time with Mrs Gnome. Lots of little interests to keep the balance just right. The carving and other woodworking is not really a hobby as I do them at work now And of course the gardening is a pro hobby!!! In fact work is my main hobby. I don't think i'll ever go back to the days when I worked, slept and the rest of the time was guitar time.
  11. I don't think there is much we can do about GM Tony. Man's most artificial invention money has made sure that this will go ahead. We have been tinkering with nature for some time now mostly for profit. I think it will be about 30 years before we are in the real brown stuff but I will be long gone by then so it won't affect me. I won't be running about destroying crops that are fenced off any time soon.
  12. I would check the condition of the spark plug. Check the condition of the ignition cables as well and clean the contacts of the on off switch. Not saying that's the problem but I would check them.
  13. I'm a bit of a mule so I just grab those handles with my arms behind my back and trudge on ! I find them invaluable now for leaves, grass and hedge prunings. Keeps my work area tidy as I go. Also good for my shredder. Just drag the bags up a wee ramp and into my trailer. But your right you learn quickly how much weight is in them.
  14. Get some old builders bulk bags.
  15. As said by others, great attitude, I would recommend getting yourself a personal first aid kit Stein do one at about a tenner. Fits in a pocket. I've pulled a few silkys over my hands, knuckles seem to be magnetised, and it really hurts and slows you down. It will also be your first bit of chainsaw kit. Gloves and helmet. You can take the ear defenders off. Get into that professional frame of mind from the start. If I have to tackle that size at height I use my silky hauyachi blade off the pole pruner. As stated anything over 330mm will make the job easier. Another thing I was amazed at when I started and had similar size conifer wood to cut through is the sheer weight of the material. Take your time and always think "can I do this a better way?" Hope I'm not patronising you?
  16. If you can get a try of one I think you will be impressed. Falling down stairs is no good at all . I hope you have reviewed your risk assessment for drinking cider in the house.
  17. Hi Jon got the wee MS 150ce last week had a quick shot and impressed. Very light, got the 10" bar on it and is very zippy. The vibes are noticeable but i'm really not concerned as the weight saving will save my back. Can't wait till it's broken in as its a bit of a snarly wee thing already.
  18. Whatever size you are planning double it as whenever I make signs to direct deliveries etc. I always wish I had made them bigger. Simple idea for signs is strip down a couple of pallets or add small straps to fill in the gaps if you prefer. Mark out your lettering with a pencil. stand back and make any adjustments. Blow torch the letters lightly and ensuring all the edges of the lettering are covered don't worry about going over the lines. The graphite in the pencil will remain to help with the next bit. Get an angle grinder and sand round all the letters carefully. If you have a dremel they are great for the trickier letters. use the sander to scallop the edge of the pallet if you want and blow torch it then sand up to the edge of the scallop to get a clean finish. You can then stain or use a wood preserver to keep it looking good.
  19. If your still having problems let the Big Man sort it out. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o8yQIg7ydbg]CHEWIN THE FAT 4 - THE BIG MAN - YouTube[/ame] Oldie but still made me chuckle. In all seriousness log everything and if he is snooping, catch him.
  20. Back to the OP if I may. I'm not a big fan of deals changing once they have been made. I'm sure many on here will see themselves as honest chaps and through there daily dealings there is some leverage over payment terms with some people. Unfortunately there are too many people who break promises and if you had been stung a few times you would be very wary of anyone changing deals. I wouldn't let it get to you. If you mix in similar circles or bump into him buy him pint. A simple gesture might be all that is needed. If I found myself in a situation like that (which is highly unlikely as personally I would have paid him as soon as I was finished) I would apologise to him and sympathise with his predicament. Best solution is not attract these kind of situations from occurring in the first place. Think what would have happened if you had paid him on time. Times are changing, attitudes are changing, people are getting ruder as they get away with it. On a daily basis I find myself shaking my head and thinking did he/she just say/do that. I blame tv for alot of this especially the soaps as it teaches people to be ruder to each other with no comeback. A bit like on here. Take care of yourself and each other!!!!
  21. 18V Makita 3Amps here as well. Years of tough service. Drills, circular saw, torch and DAB radio. Work has a grinder, reciprocating saw and impact driver. Can't fault them. I would watch the size of the batteries as i've seen alot of drill kits with 1.5amp batteries instead of the 3amp. Chargers are quick.
  22. Glad your wee tree is doing well. As regarding the picture making fake trees is an art and hobby in it's own right. Can't remember what there called but i'm sure the word fake is a big no no.
  23. Are they easy enough to drill?
  24. Ladies and gentlemen we have a new Lunge thread winner!!! That's some piece. Is that a new hard standing area for your projects now?
  25. Really deep roots so plan well where you are going to place them. A very good investment if your planning on composting as well as making the compost teas.
