  6. I dislocated my knee a good few year back and knackered cartilage, ACL and PCL. Had to wait 2 years (bloody NHS) constantly coming out again and again!! Had the the op and not been a problem since. Aches a bit every now and then when cold and/or damp. 8 years on it's still going strong.

    Oil on rope

Lid came off oil today and covered my rope rope Now I need clean my rope. What do i do? Give it a Long soak in the bath with washing powder? Don't want to risk the washing machine as it a 45m and think it'll be a tad heavy. I think I've got some nikwax cleaning fluid for jackets and spoke to my mate who sells it who said it's the same as the rope cleaner (he got that from the nikwax rep) What do you recommend?
  8. All you can do now then is have fun trying
  9. I'm doing the Dad bit and have been for 4 years now, and I love it always managed to get 2 days work in a week. Got easier as my little girl got to age of 3 as you can get 15 hours free nursery care. And it's enabled me to get 4-5 days in. All in all it's worked out far better for us both and better off finacially with the cost of child care
  10. A nice shiny snorkel kit for the hilux. Well chuffed
  11. I use the silky sugoi great saw with straps on the sheath to strap to my leg, don't have a problem with rope wrapping round it. As for cutting myself learnt 12 years ago how sharp a silky is straight across the index finger
