Never really had a problem with heights as I started rock climbing at 10 year old. I remember when I was training, one lad was was quite happy climbing a 70ft or over tree, but first he went on spikes he couldn't get 8ft off the ground

Not sure on a starting wage nowadays, but when I started in 2001 I was being paid £60 p/day and I had nc in arboriculture, And all tickets to 39 and spraying tickets -

As said use a hot knife or similar. Make its not a metal handle though. I use a half inch wood chisel, does a fine job Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

As been said driving liscence and b+e will give a distinct advantage, As well as basic chainsaw tickets. Definitely offer your services to local firms for nowt for a start, and they might end up paying if you work well, and it could all start from there

Yep P'pros same problems, sole splitting, leaking and general bad wear and tear. My Airstreams are holding out much better had them 2 year
