  8. Not a problem For speed slings are quicker, but alot of the time I prefer knots
  9. Yes and no in my opinion, make sure your slings are rated to what your cutting. I always use half hitch to a timber hitch on big stuff, but that's how I as taught it was 14 years ago though
  10. Yes short for carabiner, also you can use a sling with a crab on the end choked round the branch. If you carry a couple it can speed the job up
  11. If just using a crab back it up with a half hitch

  22. Evening Ladies and Gents, how's you? Me not so good!!! I've just been discharged from Hospital today for, New Onset Siezure! I had 4 in total that we know off. I now have to start some MRI scans, so don't know till I get some results, can't drive, boss doesn't want me climbing for the foreseeable (which I can understand) but by god my head could do with one!
