  1. There has been talk of a NW meet but seemed to go quiet? The bunk barn at Hurst Green is great, nice setting next to the pheasent shoot. Short walk to the village with pubs

  7. They are out there, It's just finding them. One of the lads hasn't worked with my boss for a good reason in a few year. He's now mutured (27) and hits it hard
  8. I think you must of had a bad run, got two keen lads working with us (brash draggers) who are paying them selves through the basic tickets on Monday. They don't run, but certainly don't stop

  14. As said try bigger bar and then decide, it might cost more in the long run but yet could be hellishly cheaper in the long run
  15. 880 is a great saw but I'd go for the bigger bar on this occasion, and then see if you need the extra power and bar capability

  20. Great responses so far. The mrs loves the one of handing out oak saplings as wedding favours, she then said she'd do it if anyone ever asks her (might have to get round to that). As for the religion side of it I can't be arsed, most people seem to do it to get into schools, but I don't think that matters anymore Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  21. There's a flower bed going round it again!!!!! The last contractors were supposed to maintain it, but sadly not
  22. She loves that tree. I'm glad it's so healthy as the previous ground contractors strimmed the out of it. Luckily a mate of mine mine has the contract now and looks after it
  23. Started at 16 in ecology and conservation at Myerscough as I was to young for the Arb course (by 20 days ) Did that started Arb just before I turned 18 did ND arb then ISA cert. Joined the forum years back, but never posted and forgot password etc. Rejoined a bit back to find new techniques and equipment. I'm about to turn 31 (in 12 days) and feel a bit old school as the most I've progressed is to a klemheist rather than a prusik
  24. I'm not religious so didn't bother getting our child christened, I was good mates with the vicar at the time (he enjoyed the pub) so rather than a full christening we had a tree planting in the grave yard and a blessing. This is Rowan today and her tree
