  1. Our local supplier will do a 500litre delivery and told us the tank does not have to be bunded if it's portable. On the oil company's suggestion I just picked up an IBC that was in good nick and it has proved an excellent fuel tank. From the maths you posted at the start 500 litres should fit the bill.
  2. That's filth Dean Phwaaaar
  3. Horrible Raining stair rods and just spent the last hour unloading a lorry load of IBC crates with a tractor with no cab
  4. Had a play around and the only thing I can see it does is open the valve for the grab. No idea of the purpose of this. There is a cable into the RH stick but no switch on it. Never mind it all works fine for my needs without the electrics.
  5. Bit far off that up here on the moors and organic so no chemicals
  6. Miserable morning here with drizzle and then the afternoon has been like a perfect summers day. Grass is loving it.
  7. Or an epic snowstorm?
  8. Nor have we yet Link would be good
  9. Ah now I see what you mean by "float" Will check it out
  10. Sorry you lost me.
  11. Probably nothing of the caliber your after but lots of pickups come up on here https://www.facebook.com/groups/farmersfreeadsuk/
  12. Steering drawbar is on another pair of hoses. Chap I bought it off does not know what it's for. Runs off spools not PTO. No extension on these cranes to my knowledge. Cant see it can be for work light or winch as the wires go into the hydraulic controls. Radio control option now that might make sense.
  13. For super fast forwarding
  14. O well maybe it it will just get used for it's original purpose. Don't tell Steve
  15. Hmmm so how do I turn it on and off? Only socket we have on our tractor is for trailer lights. Do some tractors have extra sockets for other purposes like this?
  16. Did try plugging it in but all seemed the same. Glad it's not blatantly obvious what it does as I have been puzzling over it since I got the crane
  17. Thanks Dervish. Good to hear the bag with chip works.
  18. It's an old Mowi P20 There is a picture on the Fuelwood website under the 650 trailer but I can't post a link due to computer troubles. Computer troubles fixed by turn it off turn it on again haha http://www.fuelwood.co.uk/Timber-Cranes-and-Trailers/650.aspx
  19. Thanks Terry but it's not for me it's for the father in law but he only turns dry wood and does not have the space for drying blanks. Can I just whack some PVA on it as is?
  20. No apparent switches Dean.
  21. The open and close grapple is another lever which oddly I can't see in the picture but it is in the middle the other side of the pair of levers which you rightly say are the legs. It all works fine and I have used it a few times with no apparent missing movement.
  22. Sorry you lost me I am completely green with cranes and their controls.
  23. Hope so
  24. Got to be worth it. Think of the cost of having to redo the job in a few years because the posts have rotted out and the extra price for some quality posts pales into insignificance. Just about to try some Clipex fencing on the farm due to such bad experiences with regular treated posts.
