  1. The makita cut off saw is now done. A stihl hs45 in for the broken clutch. So need a new centre boss, not needing anything else just the centre. But because this cutter rotates the oposite to the others I.e hs80/85 its a different part number. Just the centre boss, the clutch outer and springs are the same. Typical stihls. Ad some typical mower blades in etc etc etc.
  2. I like that one joe. Could have done with that when I was replacing broken gates on the farm.
  3. I liked my old one. You only need two things in life, wd40 and duct tape. If it moves and shouldn't use duct tape, if it doesn't move and should use wd40.
  4. That's take me back to my college days. Nice job that. A labour of love or are you selling it when finished??
  5. Yeah got bored after a few minutes of talking to the clients.... Stopped the video and switched back to here.....
  6. Well you did ask for it. I've never seen anything like it before and would probably run away waving my arms around like a big girl..... I would like to know what it is aswell.
  7. Really. I know two places that have them on agri. One is a skip yard, the only road travel they do is from the owners home address to the yard as the yard is not secure. And a local guy who does hardcore and machine driving as he owns a farm. The digger goes on local jobs within a local radius.
  8. What type. Jcb backhoe? Excavator, wheeled or tracked???
  9. Ok. So lets bring in the other thread. Run on may be caused by worn clutch or drum. This would have sounded like the cause, or with the over oiling maybe oil has made it onto the clutch causing it to slip. Could be in connection with the over oiling. Turning the L screw in too far will cause the saw to run lean, this could end up in a lean sieze, but by the sounds of it the L scre isn't doing anything. First thing I would do is clean the carb out, remove both screws and give the holes a blast with cleaner. The saw would be worth checking with a tach. Just to make sure its idling at the correct rev. When adjusting the screw from factory, turning in will cause the saw to over rev, turning out will cause the saw to run rich.
  10. +1, Recently had a mower that the owner had used none genuine and they lasted about 2 months before they went. Genuine are better when it comes to ride ons.
  11. Depends on what size wheel it comes with.
  12. I did and the dolmar is still going strong. Sorry but pics is the one thing I always forget as I normally walk out the door and forget the camera as my head is filled with what I need to do that day. It was and it wasn't successfull. There was a significant increase in power but not in speed. Yes the 026 did go a bit wrong as the piston ate itself. But I rebuilt it and carried on. That and tweaking a few 200t saws is as far as porting goes for me, I have enough trouble clearing the machines I get in and being a groundie for d a tree surgeons that I don't have the time for it.
  13. Yes it does. And as you know as well was me, the adrenalin pumps from the moment my pager goes off to the moment I'm back at station from a job. The rush is just huge. And I have seen a few throw up on the quay side getting out there cars, purely because of adrenalin....
  14. Go for it eggs. Would make a change from all that porting talk :001_tt2:
  15. See what I mean... MODS please...:001_tt2: Just because stihl and ryobi rock.
  16.:lol: No its not always easy and as that one shows it was very nearly abandoned. I did notice on the other videos own of the penlee lifeboat disaster, this is a much watch for people. Its over an horn long but is a very good film. Brings home the dangers out there. This is another beach launch of a rib. This one went very wrong indeed. 200t exhaust

That would be for the dealer to decide if he has heard of the new stihl policy or not...... I went and picked it up, but did get asked if I would like a posted item today...

    200t exhaust

I found the ebay one was more expensive than the dealer dave.
  20. I can get you as much info and pics as you want. They have one down at dungeness lifeboat at the moment. They are doing trials with there's and the new Shannon at the moment.
  21. Was looking at those last time. Didn't like the way the angle worked out. Might look again tho.
  22. F r jones sell them. Depends on where you are. The arborist model comes with two rams on it and if its too much you can take a ram off. Have a look at f r jones, there are other ones but I'm not sure who they are.
  23. Yeah same as the chain going on but I'm going with the excuse of not doing it as long as you two and that's what I'm sticking with.:001_tt2: Plus I'm young and nieve......
  24. These things are very very good. I really don't know why everyone doesn't have one. Until they are tried no one knows what they are like. The amount it saves on the body alone is fantastic. Then here's the time you actually save in the day by not having to keep stopping for breaks.
  25. There getting some good stuff in again. The axes and splitting mauls are beck in on Thursday. A garden cart. And the Hoover thing for stoves, saw this last time but as I don't have a stove didn't get it, but know someone who did and they said its good, saves a bit of mess and tidying up. https://www.aldi.co.uk/en/specialbuys/thursday-5th-september/
