  1. Depends on what they have done. No ins, fine, ticket, car taken until they get ins and go and get it paying for the towing costs etc. Not tax,, car taken ticket given, court. Overweight, they either lose some weight or lose the load. Plus fine and points. Some just lose there car.
  2. And back to my point of wanting a "prunning" saw cutting at the nearly full length of the bar.....
  3. Failing that the tank breathers could also be a problem. Could also be the wrong way and too much fuel getting in. Check the plug colour aswell. Indicators for fault finding. Compression. Plug colours.
  4. Depends on how clean the fuel tanks are, if they are spotless can't see a problem. Have you cleaned the carbs right out? Taken the a parts and removed the high low screws and the gauze filters and blown all the channels out with cleaner! If the carbs are cleaned out what's the compression like. Will give a very good indicator if its low compression. Also clean the air filters up. Just blow back into the tank through the pipe. And it will blow anything off the filters.
  5. People only get upset about getting pulled when they have something to hide.
  6. Yeah been there with the 200t and still am. Been doing them for a while now. Just can't see much point in doing to to a 150t, as you said a right pita to get the milling bits in it, so that one is just a muffler mod and timing advance. Easy enough to do.
  7. Here is the other tracked type for you. This is Margates boat with there launcher.
  8. It's not a port. Its a timing advance and muffler mod. To be honest. What's the point? The 150t is nothing more than a pruning saw and IMO it does exactly what it says on the tin. Wy would you need it to cut through that size and type like that?
  9. Ok. If you are stuck let me know, you are only down the road from me so I can come and look if you like, run through the electrics with the tester and make sure its all good. Does sound like not enough, but that could be a relay block or wires.
  10. Wasps are just inconsiderate, at least bees have the common curtasy to die after they attack.
  11. Sure it's not the belt drive? There isn't much to them to be honest. Clutch drive from engine, belt drive through the pulleys to the blades. Put it into some grass with front cover off (carefully and I exept no responsibility for any injury lol) and see of the belt stops or the pulleys on the blades stops but the belt keeps going.
  12. True. I'm not going to replace with another genuine pot tho. Can't take that big a hit on something that is not a customers. And the machine is just too handy to sell on to be honest. One of those tools that once you have it it comes in really handy. But now I'm starting to sweat as I have a makita cut off saw to do aswell. That one I REALLY can't afford to do it again.:laugh1: Making myself all nervous about them.
  13. What was the weather like. If it has gone from hot to cold overnight wasps and bees will be very docile.
  14. I did that. Even turned it upside down. Must have been stuck in there somehow. Gave up and went home. Next time its a good flood out with petrol and a good blast from the airline. Just one of those moments that I really should have left it until Monday......
  15. Well that was a waste of time. I must learn not to go out on a Saturday night and rush a quick job in. Ts400 pot and piston turned up today so after doing all the family stuff today thought I would just go and pop it on. All went well fitting, no problems there. The saw started really well, run for a minute then stopped dead, pulled it over and could hear the fatal sound of ting ting ting, great. Took exhaust off, rings are fine. Looked into plug hole and could see pitting. So then the swearing started. Took it apart again and yanked to pot off, the piston was badly scored on the transfer port side, only one side, the score goes from the top ridge of the piston right through to the bottom. The intake skirt is also scored. The scoring on the transfer side of the piston is not consistent with a snagged ring, as it goes through the rings, and the amount of bits on the top of the piston that fell out where too much for a bit of ring and piston. So after checking my parts left over in the tray there was a gudgeon clip missing, so this must have been in the crank case on refitting. And got sent up the ports. This saw was given to me so there is nothing lost by a customer, but if it was there is no change in procedure, another pot and piston to order, just have to take the hit. Lesson very badly learnt, never ever ever go and rush a quick job in, I can't believe I didn't check the left over parts tray before I started the saw, its lesson 101 for crying out loud.... So let the slating begin, go on I know I deserve it.....
  16. That's the one. Everyone likes a freebie now and again.
  17. Oh right. I wasn't starting an argument over the cull. You must not have walked around my town before and seen the immigrants sitting outside there houses leaning on nice shiny BMW cars smoking and drinking all day long. Or watched them all being chased by the coppers for something or other.
  18. Not that one broonie. That was East Midlands arb. This is form silky Europe themselves. Try this https://www.facebook.com/SilkyEurope?ref=stream
  19. Trying to get a link up but Facebook is being a real pain at the moment. There is no theme I think but there must be a story behind a pic.

  21. Never had an issue with them myself. Been with them for longer than I can remember now. Sounds like you have had some bad luck. If you don't like them then switch. The only one I have heard bad things about are Santander.
  22. Yawn. If you have to ask if its for real then you already know the answer.....
  23. I would love to see other animals reintroduced into the wild. Bears and a wolf or two would be fantastic. The human subject just cracked me up. What about immigrants aswell, can we have a good cull on them aswell, for sitting on there backside eating all the food?
  24. Oh yes. I don't need to do anything to the engine spud, its all good. Ordered some parts that I need last night.
