  1. Or it could be the fuel filter getting stuck, does it do it with a full tank? But sounds like seals, a vac and pressure test will tell for sure.
  2. Crank seals Adam. Three mower blades sharpened and one ms200t sorted, just awaiting a chain break handle. And a bearing for a greenmech cm220 to fit but unsure if it correct. Awaiting reply. No show on the baby front yet so getting some workshop time.
  3. And the other picture. I can upload more if needed of the bearing in place.
  4. Replacing the lower feed roller bearing on a cm220. The new bearing has turned up but looks different, need to ask this before I fit it as it doesn't look right to me. My question is the centre piece of the bearing and the grease nipple. The centre piece of the bearing looks the wrong way round to me. The lug screws end up inside the roller end so it ends up with no way of tightening theses up? Also looks like the grease nipple is on the inside of the bearing aswell with no way of greasing it without removing the roller. Are these correct. Two pictures of new and old and in two posts as I'm on the iPad. Any help.
  5. It's all good, the station know so if it goes off I go down but not afloat unless its serious. Don't drink anyway so that doesn't worry me. And in no way am I running out. But do need to catch up on what I have again.
  6. Tend to disagree, the cm220 will run as is, tyres do not wear uneven. Ok so it's running on the axle all the time at full weight. But the axle should be designed to take this weight plus extra. I do agree with the brake issue. Replaced a ram before due to brake snot working and could hear the tyres skidding to a stop aswell.
  7. Ok spud. I will leave it in your hands to go over the thread and put places to makes. One list for stihl and one for husky with the relevant areas. Oh and while your there could you add the dolmar list aswell please. I would do it tonight but the step daughter is having contractions so I'm on alert for hospital run. Thanks spud top man well volunteered :laugh1:
  8. Well I did think that but I can only go on info I'm given by members. If they love there and dont post then I can't fill the area in can I

Yep second that. The size of group with the age group will make many gringe, sorry but its kind of a stereotype that has come about. Good luck with finding one. And a you looking for a specific area?
  11. Yep this one will be gone very soon. Good on the person anyway.

    Cake!

A friend of mine has just set up doing it. Has a Facebook page called the cake junction. She is awesome at it and there is some good money doing wedding and birthday cakes. Worth thinking about I suppose. If you have a talent there is no point hiding it away.
  17. Sounds like it was like it from new, try getting hold of manufacturer and see what they say!

    Cake!

That's really cool. Don't let spud see it. It would no longer be there otherwise. Would look like a grinder got it There is some serious talent there, does your other do it for a living?
  19. I was going to say sounds like its a "standard" topper. I would just use a bigger saw. A tweaked topper would easily run a 16, but depends on the every use of the saw. If you don't want to use a bigger bar all the time is it worth tweaking. A bigger bar is usefull sometimes but not all the time. But saying that a small bar on a faster more powerfull saw will cut quicker and mean a cleaner job.
  20. Sat in the lifeboat station on standby. Got some sail racing going on. It's a beutifull day if not a bit windy.
  21. Do you mean the gear head? If so remove the plates strip the gears out and clean, any degreaser works ok. The refill with the correct grease. And when the gearbox is apart and clean check all gears and shafts for wear. Obviously strip it down in a manner that means it easy to remember how it goes back in again.
  22. A busy couple of days. A partner strimmer needing new fuel lines. A mcullock hedge cutter needing repair to handle. And four mower blades to balance and sharpen. Also got the ms250 in, tested and used, punched well above its weight cutting and was fine. Not rally sure what to do about it. Will get some timber and get the customer to use it in front of me. Only thing I can think of doing. Also fitted a fog lamp kit to a hilux.
  23. Yes of course we joke a bit on here. Would hate to see what would happen if we ended up in the same workshop. I have never used aspen. Must give it a try. So I have no experience with it. So I'm not to judge before using it. But anything that is better for the health of the user I'm all in
  24. No. As if I get raided I might get arrested as they will think the map is target areas for a terrorist attack. Then I will pass on your adress as the handler.:lol:
  25. Give this thread a good read. Will answer a lot of questions. http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/chainsaws/41601-one-reason-i-use-aspen.html
