  1. And staples is miles away from me aswell....... Damn you spud. Damn you.... Ok I'm stopping at husky dolmar and stihl. Or it could just end up looking like tony croft has been colouring in my map j:001_tt2: :lol:
  2. Nnnnnooooooooooooooo sasshhhhhhhhh for crying out loud. You will never shut him up now...:lol::lol:
  3. There is plenty of info on threads bud. Just use the search part at the top. It's a fix that can cure the accelerator pump issue with the carbs. But only if that's the actuall problem with the carb anyway. Basically it turns the 200t carb with the accelerator pump into the older 020t carb that doesn't have the pump.
  4. Ok spud. Let me know how you get on. Guess I need to get on with that hot saw then. Might have the power unit going in he next day or two. Then just need to sort out the drum and bar. Yes it does seem husky is in the greater areas so far. As for dolmar its been mentioned twice now so what colour. Seeing as pink and orange are taken. I've got green and yellow left over? A saw is a saw. Just a bit of fun banter over what make. As there always will be on the forum. For me it makes no difference. Next up on the map will be what people use there saws for arb or forestry, I just want to get the make out the way before I start filling the coloured areas with arb or forestry first. On a plus I'm learning where the counties in the uk are.
  5. Damn my secrets out. If you don't want one you just have to say. The missis will cross you off the list:sneaky2: It's not a stihl v husky thread. It's a where are all the good stihl saws in the uk. And where are the uneducated people who buy husky saws.... :001_tt2::lol::lol:
  6. I know rat. No I'm not a husky lover. Definatly a stihl lover. Just not much choice in colours from the pack. And lighter colours won't show up. Otherwise I would have done husky a girly pink
  7. So it update time then. Here is a pic of the map. Will get a better one by camera not iPad soon. If there is anyone who doesn't see there area being made please let me know. It's interesting in a boring kind of way. Not quite the north south devide. Close but there are a few areas mixed together. The orange is husky, the dark purpely orange is stihl. (And yes I know orange for husky.....)
  8. Now it just looks like a pshyco hairdressers car.:lol:

Today's callout. A dinghy spotted by a passing freight ship. Went out for a look. Found a long very heavy piece of rope. 2' diameter, a pallet. Loads of other rubbish and a dinghy. Thankfully no one in it, just loose in the water. Recovered and returned to station. Pager went off just as I walked into a shop in town. Thought it was the alarm going off for a second. Man I love being a crewman.
  10. Pipe down you:001_tt2: And I'm really sorry to break the very bad news but stihl is seriously winning the fight mate. Statistics speak loudly this time:001_tt2:
  11. Oh this is getting very interesting. It's seems its not the simple north south devide that we have been thinking. Seems to be a devide of husky through the middle. And then moving S.W through Wales. This may expand into the arb and forestry bit soon. I'm getting interested now. Sorry folks but the map isn't quite finished so I'm sorry to keep people in the dark but all will be revealed soon enough
  12. Just sounds like a battery not holding charge. Get new. Could test the battery with a load tester but if its old and mouldy change it anyway.
  13. Really.... I payed 100 quid for two hours last time.... Didn't do my back a lot of good but man it did put a smile on my face. :blushing:
  14. Bingo... You programme into it wher e you want it to go, turn, stop etc. bit like what I used once at school that drew a line as it went. Hours of fun. Just been playing with the boy on it. But he did kind of porgramme it go go back 8.9m....... Thing ran for ages before it stopped.
  15. Oh bugger I forgot about that. Thanks Stephen.
  16.:lol::lol: Yeah. I would take a pic of my iPad that also came with the welcome pack but I can't take a pic of the iPad with the iPad. Nice one Steve.:thumbup1:
  17. Oh eddy...... What have you missed in this age of computer games and sitting on your backside playing them. That my friend is the single most coolest toy you could ever want or need... You can buy a can holder, a rocket launcher (that does fire at a chosen point). Ok. You enter the route in the pad and away it goes. Have to be good at maths and what not but man its cool. Should be a vid on YouTube somewhere,
  18. Guess what I picked up at the boot fair this morning. 50p. If you want it I will gladly send it at you cost for postage. If not I'm going to continue playing with it. Might even get the coke can holder aswell.
  19. Ok. Keep your hair on stubby. As soon as the info has stopped coming I'm getting on with it. As some counties have both I'm having to come up with something for that. Don't want to shade an area in only to have it balance out. So I'm doing lines for these areas. Good stuff. And pmsl over the lonely hearts add....
  20. Really. First I've heard. I've got a couple in pieces that I may have to rethink about. One is an old engine. Not sure on the problem. Won't run without choke. Another is the one I have tickover issues with. Changed the crank seals as they where leaking but made no difference, will have to get back on it. Night spud. (Lightweight) And I'm off aswell. Off the booty tomoz to see what bargain I can pick up. Night all.
  21. Oh. I'm going To say Kawasaki for the strimmers. Stihl for hedgecutters. I like the Kawasaki, light and well built.
  22. Barrie and his cider disagreeing with everyone again. To be totally and truthfully honest it doesn't make a blind bit of difference to me about either. As Barrie said, al potential earners. They both have good and bad points. And they both have a very vast range of machines available. Each has there own use. I like both makes. Exept for the husky hedge cutters. The one machine I really don't like the engineering on. But then I don't like the ms280 either. Horrible design and awkward to work on. So ups and downs of them all.
  23. No I don't think you would have, but them husky have yet to bring out a topper to beat the 200t:001_tt2::001_tt2: I know the fix for the 200 just don't do it anymore.
  24. :lol::lol::lol: I can't drink anymore. Doesn't agree with me.
