Toyota D4d - common fault and how to fix.

We had a common fault on our D4D engine fitted to a RAV 4. The head gasket went on it. We had to have a new engine fitted. -
Yea that's better than doing it by hand! Nice bit of kit!

Installing some stock fencing this week, unrolling the barbed wire with a bar through the middle and hands either side and thinking God this is heavy and don't fall over!! There's got to be a better way to do this?? Has anyone made a barbed wire roller on here? Can't be that hard to make?

On this subject... Councils have spent thousands of pounds on cycle paths to make cycling safer for everyone but still cyclists use main roads to cycle on and the cycle paths are right next to them. Really don't understand it? Why there not used? Not against cycling I used to race mountain bikes when I was younger and trained on roads and did not have cycle paths then if they did I would have used them. -

Yea your right there silky love mine, I use a bridge on mine to move it away so not so close and I can really pull down on it. I am quite big and long arms!!! Could you post a pick of your pulley saver in use sometime?

I deal with Somerset Highways a few times and find them good to talk too and very helpful, but as others had said if it's that bad and a minor road get on and do it block the road. Better that than landing on someone!

Mines 1600kg, go for that. Be very careful buying stuff like this of eBay. Better off getting one from a arb dealer but that's just my own opinion
