  3. I have changed the front lights over to LED and crystal clear headlights with Xenon bulbs on my Defender . You will not look back if you go over to LED they are superb
  4. Going to have a look next week will take some pics. Think they will be what I call a Coppard. That's something between a coppice and a pollard or is that just another Somerset saying?

  7. Below I have cut and pasted from the specification for the quote. To thin around veteran trees and stoggles. To restoggle(!) some stoggles where they are threatened by the weight or angle of the stems coming from them. One stoggle may need a low level climb as it hangs out over a bank.

  11. Have been asked to quote for some Halo thinning and stoggling to some verteran trees. Only problem is what the heck is 'stoggling'??? Have not come across this term before. No way I am going to ask the client. Please help and save my embarrassment please.
  12. I am quite sure it's illegal anyway to fly a drone near people and over property and record the images. Could be wrong but good excuse to shoot the beggar down.
  13. That's harsh, as said before he must have good eyesight!! Yea you should have had it on but such an easy thing not to do, should have warned you and told you off and you do not deserve a fine.
  14. Fencing is very expensive and can be very time consuming, if they don't like it that's their problem. And that's a very good price.
  15. My wife bought me a pair a few years ago as she was fed up seeing my arms scratched up by thorns. I mainly use them for cutting and chipping horrible thorny stuff and are great for that.

  22. I use those stable mats loads, in the back of the pick up and Landy to stop the kit sliding around. Use them in workshop as well for matting. You can get them from countrywide stores
  23. Goes to show as of previous threads I have read on Arb Talk that chain saw certificates to show you are a competent operator are a must these days and in turn insurance.
