  1. [ QUOTE=Tony Croft aka hamadryad;1152367]500 quid! lmao dont NEED it, but well now.... I know now what the issue is, I just needed a double cardon shaft, as the lift is the issue, and a VERY common one:thumbdown: hey ho, all a learning curve, shall know all about drive shafts in another week or two! Wow £500, I fitted wide angle prop on mine. Did think about a double Cardon shaft, that's As far as it went. Seems ok so far and always grease them up regularly Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app
  2. All my spraying jobs take the day to do. So I charge my daily normal labour rate plus amount of herbicide used plus about 10%. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app

  11. Can't go wrong really then, one socket set I can really recommend is made by IRWIN they are made from very strong high grade steel and are designed to grip rounded off rusted nuts and bolts, and they do what they say they do. Superb socket set. Can use them on a impact driver as well Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app
  12. I use Halfords advanced spanners and socket sets. For the price when they are on offer I think they are good quality and have never had a problem with them Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app
  13. A little tip I have done for years is when you load/wind up the head spray WD40 on the wound up line. This stops the line welding together and line comes out a bit better Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app

  18. Get yourself a proper earth auger BT121, it will still have a good go at breaking your wrists but are very useful, would not be without mine
  19. Big yes tony, when lifting it puts more stress on the UJ joints as they are running tighter. Highly advise changing to wide angle. Paddocks the place to get them. Hope this helps Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app
  20. Very impressive, great pictures. Total respect!
  21. Yea, this is it on mine
  22. Tried to zoom in on your tow bar, I think your chipper is too close to your truck due to you may have the wrong tow bar mount. Land rover make an extension, it's like a square box about a foot square with holes cut out. Hope that makes sense?
  23. That is one heck of a failure, out of interest is your land rover been lifted? I lifted mine and I put a wide angled prop shaft on the front and a spacer as the UJ's were quite tight, changed as a precaution.
  24. Aliminium drinking bottles from Mountain warehouse, buy one get one free! Just don't forget there's petrol in them not water!
  25. No your not missing anything, exactly what I thought. Thank you all for your help and confirming it slugs.
