  3. That's a coincidence, a client asked me about this yesterday on his tree. exactly the same as your photos. I was a bit unsure myself?
  4. I ring barked a Turkey Oak, the following growing season the whole tree was covered in epicormic growth before it died. Not a nice thing to do to a tree, but was done to create standing dead wood.
  5. Worked in Cheddar Gorge felling Turkey Oaks, very very steep. Scared the crap out of me some days. Some nights had night mares about falling. Not joking! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app
  6. With private clients and some large contracts I avoid stating how long a job will take, that's a lesson for the future. Somewhere along the lines of the quote something has gone wrong, between the pair of you can you meet some middle ground. What ever it is I would want some payment for the work done not walk away with nothing. If they refuse after that I would say they are trying it on.
  7. Utterly tragic, poor bloke.
  8. Tell them, it's the right thing to do or otherwise it may play on your mind for ages? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app
  9. Bloody hippies!! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app
  10. Tell the the land owner you can't use glyphosate in summer for stump treating as it will not work as the sap flow is active. Only works in winter when sap is not flowing. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app

  22. I have always used Grazon 90 on Nettles and it works, but be careful not to get it on anything you don't want killed
  23. I have to say my biggest gripe that frustrates me you got a full load of chippings pulling a chipper and you leave a good breaking distance in front of you and some numpty over takes you and fills up the gap. Agree with Adam you need one sometimes front and back of car. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app
  24. Thanks for that, is it just something I have noticed but is there more bad driving on the roads nowadays? Main reason I want to fit one. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app
