  1. MM 4x4 mate, can't remember what make they are but they are not the Britpart ones
  2. Fitted some cranked rear radius arms today to my defender,as I lifted her. Had made a big difference to how she feels. Highly recommend. And easy to do. Going to do the front ones now.
  3. Nice one, always keep my winch covered on my land rover and has paid for itself. Got to look after ya kit. Must look into doing a welding course!!
  4. Very nice idea, will you put some sort of cover on the vice to stop it getting rusty in wet weather? oh I wish I could weld!!
  5. Also a lot of Arb Talkers own and run their own business, and are not stupid and not born yesterday. We all know about profit margins etc and we get by.
  6. That's Scottish independence for you then????
  7. Check you have not bent it up? The tyres look the same as mine. I have been very pleased with mine, it's paid for itself very quickly but there is only one weak point I have found, the two bars that are welded onto the draw bar then attaches to the trailer have bent up very slightly on mine but to be honest does not bother me. For the price they are great. Most of the sites I work on are SSSI's it's great for that.
  8. Don't generally comment on stuff like this! But is it normal to use a chainsaw in shorts and for a chainsaw to follow the limb you just cut to the ground over there? Just wondering that's all.
  9. Picture of mine in use, see how much it has shifted from the site I was working on. You do have to be carful you don't tip it. But it's perfect for getting in and out of tight areas. Like every bit of kit know its limitations of what it is capable of doing.
  10. Works for what I want it for!!
  11. I bought the very first one of these, I gave the chap the idea after we had a chat about it. based on another piece of kit he had back then. It's a very handy small quad timber trailer. Have tipped it over twice though. No harm done. Have shifted lots of timber with it.
  12. I have never made a claim like that but so I have been told some insurance companies will try it on and pay out less than they can. So stick to your guns. You may not be physically hurt but don't forget the mental stress this has caused and lack of earnings. Hope you get what you deserve. Good luck.
  13. That poor woman, how could you upset her like that? If that tree is 200 year old so us she. Bless.
  14. My goodness what you must have been thinking when that happened and your thoughts were straight after the accident? So glad none of you were hurt. What a horrible experience for all of you. Hope your insurance company gets and gives you what you deserve.
  15. Be rude not to! ; )
  16. Like the Land Rover, love that trailer very cool set up there
  17. If you want a good quality quad go for a Yamaha or Honda
  18. That looks like a freezer unit on the back of that land rover. Looks cool though.
  19. That looks well good, smart tidy job.
  20. Don't get that many planes round here don't think I have ever worked on one, but I do like them
  21. Yea the leaves are really coming out now down here, Horse Chestnuts are looking fantastic.
  22. Cheap tools, any really. Can't stand them why make them?
  23. Wow!! That is impressive! I wonder how much that costs a day?
  24. Nice one, just need some sign writing done now! Good choice of saws by the way!
  25. Like that, could get some stickers made up and put them on the truck!!!
