Well done on that, glad it went well without any hassle. Should help with fuel I would think. Got mine complete with hoses as yet not fitted, when time allows?

Blanking off the EGR valve is a common mod to a Defender, going to be doing it in the new year to my Defender 300tdi. Going to buy a kit, includes the plate and silicone intercooler pipes. There should be a benefit, how much I don't know yet?

Don't surprise me at all Jon, think it's gone a bit silly really. Panic buying Defenders for the sake of it. Wait till the new ones are out, price of the 'old shape' will soon go down. Clever marketing by Land Rover! I have been told the new Defender looks very nice! And the design has been signed off.

Thinking of blanking off the EGR valve on my 300tdi Defender. Anyone else done this and did it make any difference in performance? Cheers

Been using Clark's for years good chain oil, the cold weather will affect any brand of bio oil. Just one of those things if you want to use it. My MS150 does not like it and that's the only saw I run mineral oil on.
