  1. Don't know you Sean but really sorry to hear of your accident, hope you get better very soon. Ian.
  2. Gail from Coronation Street, always thought she looks like a Hamster! Can't have two Hamsters in one show!
  3. That's exactly what I do once they are submitted I look at them on the LA website for progress
  4. Yea but what you got to remember Top Gear goes out world wide, they have top gear In Germany and in America can't see them stopping it here mate.
  5. That may be so but no one is bigger than the BBC everyone is replaceable
  6. I don't think they would as they both do other programs for the BBC. Got to think of yourself in my opinion
  7. Sounds like very good advise to me, you only have one pair of eyes. Got to look after them.
  8. On the Blackdown hills Jon same here more like sleet though
  9. It's all that Thatchers cider Jon! Change those pipes to silicone Jon!! ( the Defender that is)
  10. Got carb cleaner in my eye at the weekend, not much but still not a good idea!! Even if you think I won't bother to wear glasses, ignore yourself and do!
  11. Thanks Hodge I'm 6' as well with single cab tipper I struggle sometimes with CS boots and trousers on. Sounds the way forward and they look cool!!!
  12. Cool, thinking of fitting the quark as it's D Shaped.
  13. Has anyone fitted a Momo steering wheel to their Defender? Did it make a difference in cabin space at all?
  14. Yep been there as well very common in our work, dead elm saw dust is bad and really scratches your eye. Worst one I had was when my son was a baby and he accidentally scratched my eye ball with his finger nail. That hurt for days. Hope it heals soon.
  15. Yea the stones for that are cheap, think I paid £5 for 3 last time. Dremels are a very handy tool to have.
  16. I use a Dremel just to take down the depth gauges/rakers down by eyesight when required . Sharpen cutters with a file (best way).
  17. I have owned a 260 since 2010, great saw solid and built well. Did some sub contracting 2 years ago and they had 3 261's and all of them were just gutless, weak saws. I love my Stihl kit but this saw is not very good. Buy a 550XP
  18. Just found this thread, bit late coming in. I use an FS490 on scratcher and clear saw blades and have cut loads with them there is a knack to doing it as you cut you lay material over in the same direction. Saves your back bending over using a chainsaw. Blades stay sharp for some time but I am lucky as most of my work is on peat mires so no stones to hit.
  19. I use them they are great specs as you said
  20. Looks good can I ask how much and where you getting it from?
  21. Nice landy, I saw that on Nene over lands Facebook page and thought it was good there
