I had a dolmar ps-5000 here it would spark fine on the bench coil was ok as soon as put it back together intermittent spark found out there was a small tear in the HT lead when it was all screwed up tight it would earth out The carbs on these saws can be a pain once they start playing up I've just put a new carb on a 43cc Makita as it wasn't performing right put a carb kit in not much difference then took a carb of a dolmar 420 and it run fine so sometimes an easy fix :thumbup:
  16. Gotta agree with you Bill I have always liked a 15"" 325 050 bar and chain combination on these 50cc saws

  19. I made another mistake the top rpm is 13.8k not 13.5k Yes it is a shame about the 24"" K095 mount not being readily available here Ive been running ona on. A. 20"" 3/8 050 It seems happy with that but I would like to try a 24"" and see how much it would take :thumbup:

  21. Yes ithe same 13.5krpm and ia K095 bar mount and 3/8 18" is standard issue I was quite impressed with the compression test on the saw No wonder they put an easy start system on the saw :thumbup:
