  10. Yes full house That Makita oil is quite thick mix it with some cheap sae 30 Or a better idea have another red saw to eat that oil up :thumbup: Seriously I hope you've cracked it now
  11. as you know from your recent searchs iits a bit like a needle in the haystack I will pm some details across if you need some assistance Solo has been taken over by Alko earlier this year and chainsaw production was stopped there is a new line up scheduled for late 2015 early 2016 So hopefully there won't be two many changes to the new models parts availability aren't the quickest and the IPL is just as difficult But the handle and trigger lock is used on at least two models so your in luck :thumbup:

  14. yes t was summed up well this saw has a lot to prove its only been on the market for 6-7 years so it's still along way to go what else is out there that weighs less than 4.873 kg

    Hey matte If you google fitchell & sachs two stroke engines , mopeds you will see how in the 1930's what they done for the 2- stroke engine Including the wankel motor and the countless other brands they Made engines for It was in 1975 they took a majority share in Dolmar and that lasted for 15yrs And since then they been taken over by other companies and now there producing there own motor bicycle again :thumbup:

    It got dropped or was not sold when makita acquired sachs Dolmar in 1991 iam Certain makita just kept the Dolmar brand as fitchell & sachs made several engines normal and rotary and also they had the scooters snow mobiles and are producing some equipment to this day. in the mid 70's fitchell & sachs acquired a majority share in Dolmar to make it sachs Dolmar they had approx 16 or 17 years together :thumbup:

    that saw in the picture is the 9010 that wrap was carried on from the sachs dolmar era the 7910 full wrap is a different design and shape altogether
