  3. When I lived alone I stripped and rebuilt a V4 Honda engine on the back room table . Fitted a TTS 837cc big bore kit to a 750cc FK engine .

  10. High Eddie . Its used in racing 2 stroke engines so could be either water cooled or air cooled depending on the bike , cart . or what ever . TCD put me onto it couple of years ago . If you check the specs it exceeds any other 2t oil on the market and probably what's in Aspen also .
  11. Turning into a real quest this ah Jon
  12. Thats the way I would go if you godda lug it around all day .
  13. Cant say I have ever noticed excessive vibes on either saw but unlike you ( the up and coming job ) I dont use them day in day out . For a given bar size on standard gearing and totally standard saws then the 395 would be quicker in the cut I feel . It has a bit more torque so you can lean on it and it wont bog so soon . A 395 would be pretty good on a 28" but it will be a little heavier than the 390 . Depends on how big yer guns are I suppose !
  14. You mention a 390 . I have both 390 and 395 and would not go above 28" 3/8 on the 390 ( even though it is a ported saw ) The 395 pulls a 36" .404 . So if you are going to run a 30" bar I would go 395 . Cant coment on the Stihl models . Sorry .
  15. How much did they charge you to do that ? ..........: Kidding , just kidding
  16. Sounds like you enjoyed your self
  17. Your wife's sister is a cracker !
  18. Well yea . However the wet gets on the ground you godda keep the bottom layer off it !
