  3. Oh . OK . Mine did that until the porridge bar fell apart but has been fine with the older type bar

  6. That is because the "techshite " bar is de laminating . Get the older type bar fitted to 338/335 and that wont happen .
  7. Yea but it will have gone hard and crusty by then . This is something we have not factored into the theory ... Wiping it seems needs to be done pro rata to taking a dump . You can have as many dumps as you like without affecting the rate at which your hair grows or how dirty your truck gets but to keep a constant you need to wipe every dump . Thats the science bit criticism is just that . It can be adverse or pro . Its still a critique Any way I think he did a stellar job !
  8. Are these both the boron alloy steel tracks ? Had a look and the seem to be the billiebollox ! What is the difference between them and the application ?
  9. Get hold of the clutch drum and try to rock it about the axis of the shaft . If you can it will be that chattering . Worn needle roller bearing or worse locally worn shaft ....

  15. As above . Also the oil hole on the Stihl bar may not line up with the outlet on the Husky power head . Get a Sugi bar and all is well . Simples

  18. Ok yep clue steel therefor ferrous . Milled and turned alot of EN58J . Machines well . EN57J which is magnetic was pants to machine . Used Monnel metal , inconell , titanium and other wirdos in my time . All been in my eyes some time or other !
  19. I thought EN58J ( non magnetic ) contained no Iron ?
