If the plastic is ABS then Eththyl Methyl Ketone ( spelling ) will devolve it and join it together . This can be found in " osma pipe cement " and works a treat . You can use the Osma cement to make a fillet like a weld .

The top stuff stuff costs big coin but not always do you need the " top stuff " My mate who I grounded for still uses an old Willans harness and up untill a few yeas ago still climbed on 3 core rope . So don't assume you have to have the cutting edge Carbon spikes etc to earn a living . By all means get it when you can afford it but dont break the bank to get started . -

I live in West Sussex and although I have seen some I would say in my Village and surrounding area 90% are in full leaf and look healthy .

If you are mixing pump fuel than yes as it starts to go off as soon as it leaves the pump . If you are using Aspen then not a problem as it has a considerably longer shelf life . 5 years I think . You can buy Aspen ready mixed ( Aspen 2 ) or mix your own with Aspen 4 . I mix Aspen 4 with Redline racing oil at a ratio of 50:1.

Yea I think you are right . Don't know were I got that from ! Been in my head for years . Just looked it up and its Maple , Saple , Bubinga , Cherry and Walnut . Depending on your tone requirements . Holly not i there at all !
