It would suggest that your tank vent is not blocked nor is your air filter .
  7. Contrary to some people I have found pop to be pretty good fire wood . The important thing is once its seasoned you must keep it dry as it absorbs water like blotting paper . More so than other wood . There was a guy on here who said he once boiled his central heating using pop .
  8. As said Use good quality synthetic 2t oil Stihl Ultra , Husqvarna XP or if you want to go for the best Red Line Racing oil . and ruin them, all at 50:1 . One can , one oil . Another alternative is to use Aspen ready mixed .
  9. You could always engrave them with " Stevie B " ...........

This is a good call , tank pulling a vacuum maybe ? Another possibility is low compression . Runs till it gets warm , clearances open up , compression drops of to the extent it wont combust ......
  14. Saw several different types of butterfly today . You say the BBQ all worked . How could it not ? Or is it one of those gas " out side cooker " things ! ?
  15. I think what Tom meant was the original cast bearings were greased adequately there fore it was not down to lack of grease . I could be wrong though ......
  16. The last thing to be cut was a big old Mac stump . Think its a bit of staining .
  17. I have always run full skip .404 on my 395 . Did have some semi skip once but cant remember how it performed .
