    Hit and run .

Thats not the stretch of road . That is poker strait . The stretch of road I am referring to is undulating and twisting and the cycle track is not part of the road . It is separated by a 3 meter wide verge with trees on , as I said .

You dont have to enter and leave via the traffic and I cycle on it and there is no gravel or lose crap . The worst is the grass some times gets a little long in between cuts .

Its tarmac as I said and runs parallel with the road .

One of the problems we have on the stretch of road between Lavant and West Dean is that quite a lot of the " pro Lycra " brigade refuse point blank to use the dedicated cycle track provided . It is totally separated from the road by a approx 3 meter wide grass strip with periodic trees and is tarmacked . But no . they would rather risk it on the undulating twisty A 286 .
  5. The Stockbridge round a bout just south of Chichester became a crime scene yesterday at 7.00 am . A cyclist was found by police by the side of the road . Sadly he died from his injuries . The round a bout and part of the A 27 was closed all day . The resultant traffic diversions caused mayhem .
  6. Have done it in the past but only on long bars .
  7. Its the compulsive chain brake snapper onners that ind me up . !
  8. Get it split and dry , mix it with other stuff . All I can say really .
  9. If you could get it into the water, tie it to a boat and bring it to the mainland you could get it milled. Ringing a beauty like that up for firewood would be a travesty. If you could find someone with an 880 and an alaskan mill he could mill it on site. Or you could hire a Chinook chopper and fly it to Sweden and get it milled there ! .
  10. Should have Noah written on it somewhere
  11. My old mate Al Waters uses an Exeter retort . the very first one made I believe . You can find it on youtube if that helps any .
  12. The only time mine makes a noise s wen she is dreaming Dont think I have ever heard her bark .
  13. Yet another sunny day in paradise !
  14. Yep Says Husqvarna up the side of the label and Aspen 2T across the top .
  15. Sorry Eggs . Its a pisser .
  16. I think its in him if he plays it right . Tony is no mug as proved last time out . I noted Tony described David and Johnny Nelson as athletes and himself as " the fat scoucer with the big mouth " ( interview with the three of them ) That is either supreme confidence or already making excuses . I think it will be a cracker .BUT Haye has got to box .
  17. The re match ! . Hay has got to box not swing wildly . What do you guys recon ?
  18. We " disturb " birds every day , day in day out . The same as they disturb us ( moorhens calling at night , dawn chorus etc etc ) and they are not the least bit bothered . They may hop fly off for a bit but usually come back . Robins can become quite tame . One used to eat porridge oats out of my Granddads hand when I was young . I think in this situation common sense has prevailed .
  19. As for " disturbing " If that big old bugger fell over it would have disturbed a few .
