He has 2 threads running . One is entitled " whats on your bench today ? " and the other is " Spuds tuning and porting thread " He is very reasonable in price ( much more so than a main dealer ) and you get a proper job done . ( I am no relation ! )

Sorry . Spud or spudulike to give his user name is Steve Gum . he services saws , ports and tunes them also if you request it . He has worked on most of my saws in the past . All ported and running harder and more efficiently . Total reliability and more efficiency ( if a little louder ) . Send him a PM and see what he suggests .
  5. Jonathan . You don't look ridiculous . The cab is ridiculously small bud !

If it was me I would send it to Spud . He is a veritable wizard when it comes to saws . !
  7. All my saws are cordless ( if you don't count the starer cord )
  8. I got my tickets in 1807 and now only cut my own fire wood . Will I go to prison ?

Low comp symptom . Check the the pot by taking the muffler off and look for any scoring . Or do a compression check if you have the equipment . Once it gets up to temp the clearances between piston and bore open up to point point where the compression is not enough to support combustion . .... Possibly The other thing it could be ( and less expensive ) is the tank breather is blocked and it pulls a vacuum stopping the fuel from entering the carb . try running it on its side with the fuel cap cracked open a touch and if it continues to run past your 15 mins it may be that . Good luck !
  10. There was talk of pulling out of the football world cup .
  11. Leonard Rossiter played squash at my club in Chichester once ( back in the day when I played ) It was a celebrity tournament I think . He was quite handy I remember .
  12. The MK2 husky has addressed the dodgy build quality of the first generation . There is a stronger mount for the rear AV spring and the spring itself is now barrel shaped . This has cured the tenancy for the saw to fall in half if dropped on the strop . There are a few other mods to the engine itself , fly wheel and some other things I cant remember but it is much improved . I think the Stihl 201 has had things modded to enhace the performance also . The Mk1 was dire .......Some people rate the Echo .
  13. I found that I missed probably 30% of his stand up act from laughing at the previous joke and missing the next two ......
  14. Or putting a cucumber through the letter box and shouting " the Martians have landed " ......
  15. They get asked to make a saw for $60 so it can be sold for $120 , so they oblige . I wonder if the likes of Stihl or the big H could do the same ?
  16. What a beautiful day for .................
  17. Oi oi then Baldbloke . Welcome bud . looking forward to your content be it funny or serious .
  18. One of your reductions on the left there Mark ?
  19. That's all good . They would appreciate the feed back I am sure .
  20. TCD ( you remember him ! ) is continually complaining that there is sooooo much rain he cant get on site . If you contacted him he might have done a strait swap ! . Good luck anyway bud .
  21. As neat as a neat thing .
