I know life is a compromise but , .....I don't think you can have a view and a wind break . If you want trees with gaps and not a hedge ( you can see over ) You will end up crown lifting the trees to get the view and the wind will come whistling through the gaps . If you make a proper shelter belt you will stop the wind but see fuck all . -

If one drops and injures or kills I don't think anyone would care if it was called a limb or a branch to be fair . -
What if he put his hands up and paid the fine ( whatever it is ) like other people have had to do ?

Another possibility is low compression . If it runs fine untill it gets up to temp it may be a low compression issue in as much once the it gets hot and the clearances open up it wont support combustion .

Yep . I used to be of the opinion that 20% is 20% ( so why pay extra for kiln dried ) but its how you get there . I am convinced that 20% genuine kiln dried burns fine but should it get wet from poor stacking / storage it then is harder to dry again than air dried if the same thing happened . Something to do with the cells in the wood after kilning .
