  1. My guess is they have run it without the spark screen in and put it back in to sell to you . I take them out my self and leave them out .
  2. I would assume that is a fair assumption . ☺️

    Covid-19

Yep , understood so why is it that some people ( as stated back a bit ) can test poz for c19 and not know they have it . Maybe the same can happen with flu ? They are all Corona type viruses along with the common cold after all .

    Covid-19

I am 67 and don't ever remember having proper flu . Had some " man colds " and stuff but not proper flu . Do you think I may have had flu or even C19 and not realized ? ( not taking the piss , genuine question )
  5. Surely on a 550 the A/T adjusts the carb ?
  6. Used to make harps . Ask musical instrument makers ?
  7. You would also need the 3/8 worm gear for the oiler . Done it once on a 357 ok . I think 346 are better on .325 .

    346XP

I assumed he did as a 346 should be a standard 7 pin rim ore an 8 pin on a ported saw ( up to 15" bar ) As mentioned any thing bigger will need a non standard drive link count but would bog down anyway .
  9. Love the Wimbrel . Had one here in West Sussex dibbing about in the cow muck . Moved on after a day or so .
  10. What fumes were you getting ? If its exhaust I would sort that out first .

    New Saw Advice

Personally I think 28" is the max for that saw . It will pull longer bars but it will be working harder . The old rule of thumb .....Bar length X 3 = cc of engine .
  12. That is class . The Husqvarna ones in leather I liked . ( back in the day ) Then they went over to Earth polluting plastic ,
  13. Say it one more time I double dare you !

    New Saw Advice

I dont have a problem with Auto Tune my self as I have 2 saws with it but some people are shy of it . The 390 is a good bomb proof saw IMO . I run mine on a 28" 3/8 set up .
  15. I had a similar thing a couple of years back . There was a grass snake trapped it the netting on the raspberry canes over the road . Got him sorted and let go .

    New Saw Advice

390XP is a tried and tested saw ( I have one ) superseding the old 385XP . No A/T to worry about ( if you are the kind of person that does ) and they respond well to Spud porting them . ?
  17. Phew ! We got off lightly then J ☺️
  18. I went with Daphne once . She worked at West Sands Caravan Park .
  19. That is a cracker ! ?
  20. I know , I know . Thing is , with my injury's and fast approaching senility I could not get the best out of it !
  21. This and tighten it a tad first before undoing .
  22. Got the dual and the pickaroon .
  23. The last bike I had was 150bhp at the gear box . Probably 128 ish at the back wheel . The new SP Blade is 217BHP or something . Bonkers !
