  2. I just get a can of alkylate fuel ( not the pre mixed but the blue can ) and put a measure of Red Line Racing 2t oil in the combi then add the Alkylate fuel and shake a bit . The 2t bottle I have had for 40 odd years . Just decant some new Red Line as and when .

  4. Well I said self loading and the RO said plod dosn't like them being called that . He was not agreeing . He thinks its silly as well .

  9. Possibly a graft . Is it a fern leaved beech ? You will get it reverting to the root stock if you remove a limb . Also if it sprouts below the graft line . Possibly a cultivar ?

  19. Trouble is , and I hope it does not apply to you , usually the bits that fail are the bits that fail on all those model saws . You might end up with another one the same as the one you got already . Fingers crossed .
  20. You could be me ๐Ÿ˜„ . I am 72 and retired . I too would like a big old Mac , the one with the cart engine . I started with an all metal Jonsered and a non AV Alko . Berst saws I ever had were the older Husqvarna 394xp . Had 3 of those with the Tillotson carb . Got a Crocky ported 395 now . In fact all my saws are ported . Spud did some of them . The 372xp is a cracker .

  23. Staking too high does not allow the tree to move with the wind . Moving with the wind also promotes reaction wood making the trunk stronger I have been told .
