  1. This . Mine does anyway . Having worked for many years in a tool room with a massive compressor with a huge tank I can honestly say that for air line use and pumping up truck tiers there is no decernable difference .
  2. Oh . Ok . All the while it is on there is continuous flow , at a constant pressure . . It only stops when I switch it off, but hey ho .
  3. It is immediate as it does not have to fill a tank ...You press the on switch and its there .
  4. Mine is an " actual " compressor , just no tank .
  5. And I so wanted to but , Ho hum .
  6. I have a " no tank " one and it pumps tires fast as **************** . Air line no probs . If you want Intimidate air then why worry about a tank ?
  7. Just take your saw to America . You can fit whatever bar lenght you want then .
  8. Don't make work for the poor little bugger . I think there is a .043 " gauge around . Maybe try that ?
  9. To be honest the only Stihl saws I have ever owned were MS 200T . ( 3, I think ) . They had the usual piston pump carb stuff that happens after a bit of use but no real complaints and that from a Husqvarna man . ☺️
  10. Did they actually do a " piss poor " start model ?
  11. Flap wheel on a drill works well if they are not too far gone .
  12. If you are an infrequent user you could use an Alkylate fuel such as Aspen or Huqvarnas own version . It can be left in the saw for long periods and has no Ethanol , won't attack the rubber components ( although it will show up what the pump fuel has done already ) wont give a headache and leaves the internals of the saw free from carbon . It won't remove carbon that is already there though . If you run a saw on Aspen from the get go and strip it down after a years contentious use there will be no carbon deposits and a minimal brown staining on the piston .
  13. Yep I like them . Use a 4 slot head but only put 2 lines in the bottom slots . The 4 slot head keeps the fixing nut under flush so won't dig in . ( the plastic cups come off to easily ) I use 4.00 mm square " Diamond edge " from desert extrusions , about 9 inches long . Hence no guard .
  14. Being half German , is that not a pre-existing condition mate ?
  15. Need a good breakfast ?
  16. Sorry , I thought you said youi fitted another flywheel I can see now you meant a new key . Still sounds like timimng thouigh . edit . Spud has suggested the key sheared again . i am thinking the same .
  17. Don't sugar coat it Mick !
  18. One would have thought so matey .... Ammunition , mmm I wonder were that goes ?

Its called air injection on a Husqvarna .
  20. They were back in the day . If you read the book " Sometimes a great notion " or , watch the film of the book entitled " Never give an inch " you will see Paul Newman at the top of a big stick with a Mac 895 or similar . They are just home owner stuff now . The big 125 are sought after now . They had the cart engine in them . Not huge revs but unbeatable torque .
  21. How the hell you are supposed to wipe your tradesman's entrance with pasta god only knows .
  22. Yep that would be good . Quite happy to be wrong mate .
