  1. Well , " yes way " . The ID of a 7" clay liner is just a bit more than the OD of a 6" SS liner and that's what I have got . I know coz I helped install it .
  2. I have 7" clay liner and a 6" stainless steel liner fits snugly inside that . The stove has a 6" outlet and everything works fine . The liner goes from the stove ( inside the short piece of stove pipe ) right up to the cowl on the roof . Jobs a goodun .
  3. I was frightened of good looking women to be honest . It was not until my early 20s that I realized that they were just people the same as me .
  4. Its a plastic photo card license but when i got it I was pretty much un aware of any of these classes . It was 1970 when I passed my car test and 1969 when I passed my motorcycle test ( on a 250 ) . The license at the time was a little red book with a crown on the front .

  16. Don't see how more oil is going to help it start when hot . Its vapor lock surely .
  17. I would have thought it is vapor lock if the weather is warm .
  18. I had a pear ( william I think ) that was graftet onto a cherry rootstock . Had really nice pears and below the graft , cherry leaf and flowers . No actual cherry fruit though , sadly .
  19. I thought it was the other way round . The cherry is used as the root stock and other things e.g. pear are grafted onto the cherry . But as you say the sucker will be from the root stock .
  20. They came down the track near my log pile then drove through a gap into a field of linseed and did endless " dough nuts " on quad bikes . I thought they had destroyed the crop but amazingly it seems to have recovered and is now flowering !
  21. But a nice cup of tea and a Victoria sponge ...well 😁
