  1. We did that down the Chichester canal . The line was to a house boat . The bloke was an ex B.T. line man and fixed it himself !
  2. Yea just looked again my self . That was a good spot . Huge cock up on the forgers part seeing as they seem to have got everything else so close .
  3. I think you mean punted .............in the skip !
  4. Cos on the listing it says " from Malaysia " but it could be from anywhere I suppose .
  5. Mmmmm a monkey for sure ...wise ? I dunno !
  6. Did you use it on the full power mode or the lesser power mode ?
  7. Well I don't sell much , mostly its just for me but I am forced to tack in the open air and only store in my wood shed thing when I have split it . All seems to burn fine on my Burley any ways .
  8. Have any of you seen the " Husqvarna 365 " saws on ebay from Malaysia ? The plastic mouldings and crank case appear to have been reproduced faithfully yet there is something about the patina that smacks of repro . The shape and dimensions look good in the pics but I am sure its not kosher ! They have even copied the box pretty good and the manual . I just wonder what the motor is like . There is one on there at the moment at £29 . No way am I tempted but Innocent people are going to get had I am sure . Is this a crime ?
  9. You are a very talented dude doing something you enjoy and have a cracker of a wife/girlfriend ! count your blessings and keep at it !
  10. 550 on a 13"-15" bar (50cc) or 560 on a 15"-18" bar (60cc) Do it !
  11. Mmmm he is taking the p..s shureluy ??
  12. Thats more like it . We had plastic barriers up once with foot path closed signs, cones , the whole shooting match . Along comes this jogger . I shout and gesticulate at him but he keeps coming so I shout to the climber to stop cutting . The jogger vaults the first plastic barrier , jogs through the "kill" zone , attempts to vault the other barrier and trips on it and fall flat on his face . I really felt like giving up that day .
  13. Like it ! What a good idea . Like your candy apple strat in the avatar too !
  14. Been burning dead elm for years . There in a seemingly endless supply in the hedgerows in Sussex. Superb fire wood .
  15. The inertia bit applies to the mechanism not some one swinging the saw about . Some time ( when I'm tired ) I just drop my saw on the ground when its turned off and the inertia mech will activate the brake .
  16. You say the ancient ash look lovely in the summer so they must be getting enough lite to have survived this long . We need resistant ash for obvious reasons What about felling enough Douglass to help the ash and if they seem resistant harvest the keys for future stock ?
  17. My whole body is shot to bits and my brain is frazzled . But hey there are worse of than me in the world .
  18. Yep Its just that Steve called the mod ! Is it to do with the pump piston ?
