  4. As above really , krabs could have been used for rigging and all sorts . Not an area to be taking any silly risks imo

  6. I'm truelly shocked that there are professional arborists out there that cant grasp the difference between a top handle saw and rear handle ?? Couldnt care less how you decide to use a saw but you should at least know the reasons behind each
  7. Cant beat a dog gazing lovingly into its owners eyes Jon Seriously some nice pics there chaps
  8. There not designed to be used on the ground for reasons a professional arborist should understand . In saying that , weve all used them on the ground when you cant be arsed sharpening your ground saw or its playing up .. a convenience thing . There seriously isnt anyone on here would consider using one as a ground saw .. its blasphamy at best to the 200t:confused1:
  9. Thing is thats not up for debate . Good manners is , just my opinion . PS .. didnt think his post was rude , just odd .

  11. HAHAHA !!!! It'll all be worth it treemoose when theyre shipping you off to the old folks home .
  12. You better not get that big whip out again !! PS .. Did the wife go for my stein arb trolley / pram idea ?
  13. All this bloody baby talk , pahh .. I'm off to slate some newbies
  14. Dont know about the HC but if my blakes starts getting jumpy i'll just put the 8 on the tail . Smooths everything out . Descending with the 8 on the standing part i back it up with a very short klemheist on my side D , bearing in mind the side D's not life support . The klemheist automatically locks the figure 8 and it would undoubtedly be life support realistically
  15. Large beech limb failure at large included union , very very lucky placement
  16. Thanks for the feedback chaps , its a no brainer now
  17. Seems my concerns are a little unfounded , all positive . Thanks for the feedback Andrew

  19. Been looking into joining the above and on inspection of the website noticed they are running health and safety courses on March 2010 !! This really comes across as amateurish to me but some people on here may have first hand knowledge of being a member and of the benefits ? Thanks ..
