  14. Beautiful Dave , top work as usual
  15. Unions of got nothing to do with driving wages up . They are only a negotiating committee and in my experience you only got paid what you were worth as in any walk of life . Totally agree genset . This isn't endemic to britain... Dubarry who claim to keep everything traditionally Irish in their label - RUBBISH , made in Malaysia I ordered a new CCM hockey stick , a Canadian icon .. made in China stuck on the side of it . I'm ashamed to hold it Its not all doom and gloom though ,my new RC lowering device .. big MADE IN BRITAIN stamp
  16. Rock Exotica dual rope ascender arrived this morning after only 2 working days !! Guy from Fedex said he made sure the boat got here on time Seriously good effort , polite and pleasurable to deal with
  17. Brilliant TY , i need to go and wash my face !!
  18. Theres some sort of willow in my garden got it , first time in the 4 years i've been here ... seen it on a clients sycamore last week , going back will get a photo hopefully .
  19. Of course you can ! Thats the way i do it and just chuck a few charcoal coals on top but you dont need to do that . No need to waste bags of charcoal when theres nice clean dry wood there . It'll be so hot you can start cooking with some flames still there which i think gives it a good bbq taste .
  20. Wowee !! Superb , thats exactly what i'm trying to replicate ! Brilliant post Judge , much appreciated . ( enough of the fat man ok mate ? )
  21. Yeh i was thinking that , but how would that let the rope run freely and effortlessly Paul ?
  22. You'll need to explain Judge , thats something we deep fry up here Thank you for the response ..
  23. Hi chaps , i was wondering if it would be much easier to use a rock exotica dual rope grab with a foot strap rather than using it to replace the friction hitch when secure footlocking ? Would seem to me to be more efficient when used in this manner unless you were a tree monkey I may well be talking carp here , no doubt i will be told if thats the case
