No problems with mine .. Pure quality , ticks over beautiful , starts first time every time . I would take some convincing to change brands ( polesaws,hedgecutters etc ) . KM90 R btw

Been seemingly reliably informed i should not use a gri gri in a RADS system because it is permanently sprung open . Can i replace it like for like with an ID / Rig ? Thanks ...

Yeh its the time thing thats the biggest issue , and tiredness when you get home . Would be good to learn some of those techniques though .

Do a thread search on this , i think it was possibly me that started it . There was good answers the best being get shot PS.. pull over , switch off engine . Wait couple minutes , restart , wait till black smoke dissappears thats it sorted ( till next time ) and just dont accelerate too hard -

Your right , it is always sprung open . So i can simply replace the gri gri like for like with an id or Rig ? I would genuinely love to see some ' experts ' ascend srt if they think rads is slow , i mean how quick does it have to be Ps . I always back it up with a french prussik as i would do with any descender just in case

I'd be trying to find out how big the rootball is as this is obviously going to determine how big a hole needs to be dug ( assuming hand digging ) possible backbreaker 200-250 ? More chance of local suppliers knowing this i would think ..

Its just an srt system of climbing where it is possible to ascend and descend with minimum of fuss and effort using the equipment HA has described . Check out the ' Victorian Tree Industry Organisation ' website and youtube for more detailed info .
