  1. Maybe he doesn't but at £150 for 3 years it's hardly a big deal. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  2. I'm sure if we all used our best weeks as examples when talking to other professions they'd think the same Though the chimney sweep idea crosses my mind a fair bit. I bet their insurance isn't cheap! Mines £90 for two open fires. Was done in an hour and doesn't even take the soot away! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

    4x4 van

Oh aye, there's a review in forestry journal on the fiats. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

    4x4 van

If you can find one the django (sp) berlingo looks handy but it will be LHD a jimny might be right for you or a berlingo sized van. Sadly I don't think there's a cross over, there dam well should be by now though. I'm not sure on the vw. They're blooming expensive and I doubt that great on fuel. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  5. I've had something like that in my mind for a while. It's certainly the way forward for vegetation management. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  6. I quite like the husky pens..... I'd also buy two! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  7. It's a reg tipper but also has a bin lift. I guess a tub of chip is quite heavy.. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  8. Did the wee chipper work with your wheelie bin chip collectors? There's a tipper I'm looking at with a bin lift so combined with a wee chipper and a couple of bins for small domestic jobs I imagine it to be quite a nifty system. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  9. I want it to be successful enough that my partner never has to worry about money and doesn't have to work if she doesn't want to and the kids (if were ever blessed) get well fed, good clothes and a nice holiday once a year. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  10. North notts. But will travel as it's needed. Not enough of us to make having my own assessment worth while. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  11. Any info on species/size? How much approx is coming out? Any stacking required? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  12. Does any one know if this course is being run anywhere soon? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  13. Still looking. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  14. The only issue you have is cross over costs. For in the woods you do want guarding which is expensive. Plus most ag machines whilst they will do the job will constantly catch party on brash and branches. If it's hedges and ride work perhaps less of an issue. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  15. Sold! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  16. For jobs you'll need to work it out like the rest of us I'm afraid. Some one may give you this info but asking a potential competitor is a bit off in my book. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  17. Forestry machine operators certificate. Prices for the courses/quals are dependant on location etc but don't expect change out of a grand for a weeks training/assessment. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  18. Plenty already do it. You'll also need forestry guarding and fmoc if you want to do more forestry work than the odd bit for a small estate. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  19. Let down for tmw so need help short notice for tmw. Mainly standing around but stacking moving brash will be required. £80 Pm on here. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  20. There's a makita powered pole pruner add in FJ this month, if they've one of those I bet there's a hedge cutter to look at to. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  21. Just bought a 576xpg...... Hmmmm Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  22. Brilliant service, helpful, will match prices of online dealers and a very well run workshop for repairs etc. Very happy with the service I received today and will certainly be using them in the future as a local dealer even if just under an hour away! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  23. I've just removed 4k of rabbit fencing. Even if you just lay the turn out on the ground the grass/veg will bury it in a year or two so don't worry about it being visible. I've also got used rolls of netting approx 50m for £15 each if you're near north notts/s yorks they might be useful. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  24. Required weds/thurs next week. Pm with rates. Ca30/31 would also be handy. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  25. Any fresh news on this ? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
