But a replacement shaft is only £3 or am I missing something. Double ring and give it a bit of a soak in water to hold the rings in place the first use and they're great. 4 of us worked our way through 8 hectares of hand cut clear fell and the only trashed wedges were single ringed, yet still survived the whole job.
