  10. The symbol looks similar to what you get on cc stalks. But it's dash lights. Stuck a coat over my head to find out. I'd been looking for the dip adjuster for ages. But the line of site means I don't see it from the drivers seat. Cheers. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  11. On the left is the headlight trim. What's the one on the right for? It's under the steering column on my 07 shogun. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

  14. I'm not so sure this is all correct. Lately I've seen some pretty impressive ccf in the lakes managed by the FC. Their hands are tied by their policy created by non forestry professionals to return all paws sites to native species. Thinning in my part of the world is 80% of the timber production. All of the clearfells have been or are being prepared for restocking. With a fairly divers species of conifer. However the nt, rspb and other over funded bunny rubbers with their heathland restoration and birch/willow/hawthorn planting is wasting thousands of productive ha of land to support wildlife which ultimately prefers restock thicket and is ultimately going to evolve it's way to extinction any way..... Though it does have some major faults we should be grateful we have public support in the forest sector to be able to experiment and try other options which may not be possible in private industry. 15. That's rubbish, mine has everything. Plus some impacts. They look very similar. I've added to mine with some halfords pro 1/2 drive torx and draper 1/2 Allen key bits. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

    salary review

Another item that puts it into perspective. If a commercial training provider is only paying £16-20k.... Well, it explains a lot. @My_GreenSpace: Myerscough Vacancy: Instructor in Arboriculture. Salary £16,297 - £19,956 p/a. Closes Thursday August 21. More: http://t.co/sNpQCJZ5gw Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  19. I'd go 550xpg 15" was felling mature larch for 4 weeks with it. Why take two saws into the woods. Maybe a handful of times I thought it would have been handy to have the 576 with me but not enough to warrant humping two saws around all day. Kept up with all of the two saw users if not a bit quicker. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  20. 410/460 for the difference in price you might as well have the 460. I've got 3 now, the oldest being 2 years old having been on forestry weeding for most of the summer. Only needed consumables with the exception of a warranty claim on a clamp. Plenty of grunt for any job you can think of. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  21. If it's for in the woods it's fmo or nothing. For anything else just do the cpcs. There's nothing worse than knowing how much easier a job could be but for a piece of paper you would make profit on in the first week. Fmo can be done on your site with your machine on an assessment only basis. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  22. One of veg beds is near an old oak2-300 years old. As the acorns fell I shoved them in the ground last winter. I've now got a dozen in a wee nest until I decide what to do with them next. Most likely I'll avenue them down the drive. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
