  5. Yup, no expensive machines to miss. Though instead of felling away you're felling towards the £300k machine. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

  17. I've one, I can't swear but it's that heavy! The 1600kg one is ample. I only have it as I needed one that day and it's what was in stock. Had some chaps using the 800kg one and it looked lovely and light. And had plenty of pulling power for pulling over some pretty substantial stems. Every time I look at the wire rope my back twinges in anticipation! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  18. I've a p8e, it gets very wobbly on the float tyres especially when loaded up. Not tried it with regular tyres yet. I probably should. I love it though. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

  20. It's 37hrs a week. £15.5k a year all training, ppe and kit provided. Pa1 pa6 nptc clearing saw and all forestry saw tickets. Plus marking and tariffing training experience and an svq. So as a self employed person the whole package is worth at least £25-30k a year..... Plus a possible job afterwards. Better than uni. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
