  2. was every month but seem to last longer now I have changed the main body which was well worn after a years use.
  3. yes. I did it on a fork not using a friction saver. it was when i first got it and i had to replace the rope. Always use friction management when descending fast!!
  4. yeah top job treeman.
  5. I know. I was hoping the 540 would be equal or better. its close tho and the clear winner over the 201.
  6. the one we have is the opposite. chain slows down when I push into big wood unlike my 200. maybe it needs more use. its only 3weeks old.
  7. yeah its still no 200t tho. we had them head to head today 200 won easy
  8. I have a short 25m hank with a vt permanently on it. Its great for that. Not as good as the tachyon/ velocity in the mechanicals tho!!
  9. cool. ill go through that tonight!
  10. a colleague has found this on two separate sites one on a failed eucalyptus and another on a macrocarpa. was spongy/ powdery. mostly in the root zone and some was inhabiting the bottom of rocks??? weird. im at a loss. anyone have any idea???
  11. im with the pfanner ones too. towa ones are useless in the wet.
  12. our yard is at an old nursery so we have the use if a massive poly tunnel. works a treat!
  13. id repectfully disagree. 200 has more power than the 540. carb troubles are a bit fiddly but cheap to fix.
  14. haha thought it was them due to the colour of their trucks but couldn't make out the sign writing. lazy.
  15. chestnut re-reduction from today
  16. bottom one looks like old honey fungus. hard to say on the top one.
  17. next level skills! I love the token 3 cones
  18. couple from a big pop a few months back
  19. I have it stashed if anyone is that bothered.
  20. found something strange today. did an inspection on a 25m p. orientalis and found somthing very similar to massaria except it was on the bottom side and had a slight exudate. check it!
  21. I had use of one while my 200t was being repaired. impressed. balance is great. only niggles are I sometimes find the off switch difficult and I can't do the old one handed chain brake flick on as the brake lever is missing the top corner where my thumb would connect. but hey they proberly did that on purpose.
  22. talking sense. ive been doing maintenance on a shed load of 20-30+m london planes this week. its been big shot then up the triple stage to deal with the first 8m. energy saving!
